Visited this nice and trusty Ibis hotel in March this spring and, as always, was pleasantly satisfied. Ibis never fails and can always be counted on. Location is bit off from city centre, short walk from tram stop and just a wee bit longer walk to two different U-bahn stations. Easy access from airport with only one transfer from S-bahn to U-bahn, nice and easy for independent traveller(s). Even though it is situated next to busy road, traffic noise isn't bothersome and one could get a good night's sleep even without earplugs. Breakfast is good and enough options are available. Gluten-free bread is available also and many breakfast options are suitable for coeliacs. Bed is nice and pleasantly firm, nice surprising bonus for someone with some back issues. Pillows were large and fluffy. All in all, nice visit.

Lovely hotel for a budget weekend away. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very accommodating for everyone we loved the waffles! Staff were beyond helpful and very friendly. The hotel is located in a prime location for using public transportation into the city

This Hotel was fantastic, was dubious when I found out was staying in ibis but it was a great Hotel. I arrived in Munich and followed my map to the hotel wich took 69 mins walk from the main train station, but its only 9 mins by metro which is right next to the hotel. When I arrived I thought I was in the middle of nowhere. In fact it has plenty of shops etc in the following streets and very easy to commute in to the main part of Munich. The room was excellent with a king size and a big Tv very quite I at no point heard any maids etc. Reception was friendly and they had amenities such as ipads and phone charging points. They evan have electric scooters for hire in reception. Breakfast was bavarian in style, and plenty of it. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel and would stay again without hesitation. Randomly the 1st McDonald's to open in Germany is across the road from the Hotel. As a minor gripe it's location is not dead central but this was not evan a thiught as it took minutes by the underground. Would recommend anytime

Newer south Munich hotel with great helpful staff. Would highly recommend for value and location. Has wonderful baths, good beds, and helpful staff. Breakfast good too. Also close to a car rental agency.

The room was really comfortable. The guy on reception was extremely helpful, and enjoyable to talk to. The hotel is well situated, very convenient for the tram (or not too far from the U-bahn which would be a quicker way to get around). Underground parking (at €14 per night) was very convenient. It is very close to the Grünwalder Stadion (home of TSV 1860 Munich and Bayern Munich II).
