Easy find and convenient parking. Generally the hotel is “tired” and in need of some attention. Rooms could do with a refurb. Bed so close to the wall on one side a climb over the end of the bed is required. They don’t tell you when you book that the restaurant is closed at the weekend so we had to go out for dinner. When we returned there were people eating in the restaurant. The receptionist noticed my puzzled look and said it was room service. That didn’t make sense either! I have a suspicion that it could have staff having a meal. Suspicion only as I say. Either way it’s either closed or it’s not! Make up your minds.

Good position overlooking the Loire with underground parking. A very pleasant welcome from very helpful checkin on a Sunday afternoon. Extremely helpful in finding a restaurant open on Mayday weekend. Room a good size with two seater couch. Clean stylish and modern with plenty of electrical sockets and shaver point in larger than average bathroom. Good strong shower. Powerful easy to use hairdryer. Breakfast well laid out with impressive choice. Excellent fluffy soft scrambled eggs. A very comfortable stay.

Nice business hotel with good breakfast. Walking distance from main attractions. The breakfast is rather expensive, but kids eat for free. We could not get to our room due to the problem with key cards. Our neighbours said that had the same problem the other day. No other issues. The view from the room was amazing, especially at sunset and at night. Our son didn't want to go to bed and wanted to look at the window instead.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was better than expected in all aspects. It was in a perfect locations for our visit to Les Machines. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The lobby area was clean and modern, all the staff we interacted with were both helpful and friendly. The big surprise was the restaurant. When we arrived at lunchtime we were hungry and could not be bothered to go outside the hotel so resigned ourselves to an average or worse hotel lunch. It was well above average, so when the evening arrived it was an easy decision to stay in the hotel for dinner. Both meals were excellent and very good value for money. I would stay and eat in the hotel again if in Nantes.

We stayed in the room as a family in August 2022. The normal double room is rather small for 4 people, so better invest in bigger room if you stay as a family. We had a room on the top floor with a view over the Loire - precious! The breakfast is good and free for kids, though quite expensive for the adults. The staff speaks good English. Only few free private parking places are available outside so expect to have to pay 12 EUR for the garage. The location is very convenient to explore the city by foot. About 20 min walking along the Loire to Les Machines de l'île (if you want to ride an elephant in summer, book in advance).
