OK, but needs a makeover

We have stopped over at this hotel many times. The staff are friendly, beds are comfy, and the breakfast is good (though no fruit salad). However, it is due a makeover, especially the bathrooms, where there would be plenty of room for a proper walk-in shower instead of an over-bath arrangement, which is quite hard to get in and out of, and slippery. Some improvements, and the Styles branding would be deserved.

Dreadful - one sloppy Ibis should not be allowed to tarnish the Accor brand

25+ years we’ve stayed in Accor hotels on a near monthly basis, but never have we had an email at 9:53pm informing us that the reservation has been cancelled. Despite having a confirmed booking (guaranteed by credit card) we arrived before 10:30pm and the hotel was locked. Stranded in Orleans late on a Saturday night. Thankfully the 100+ stays at other Ibis/Novotel/Mercure suggest that this is a freak establishment with suspect management. I don’t think I have ever submitted a one-star review before. important note for future visitors: The hotel CLOSES at 10:00pm

Really well located just off the autoroute, an hour south of Paris. Warm welcome, comfy rooms and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly & engaging and a small bar area to enjoy a glass of wine after a long journey. Nice breakfast buffet, always the included in the Ibis Styles rate. Highly recommended.

Lovely welcome at reception and we got great instructions on getting the tram into Orléans and the return journey home. The hotel is clean and tidy. Our room was perfect for our stopover. The shower was excellent and we both slept comfortably. Good air con. Breakfast was also good! Would stay here again. Thanks to all in the hotel.

A comfortable enough stay with good service and pleasant breakfast bar. The bedroom accommodation, however, is in need of an update. It was almost impossible to climb into the bath for a shower as the bath screen does not move. Power points available on one side of the bed only. Two controllers to work the television. The mattress was very soft. Little seems to have changed since this was a Holiday Inn express and that was a long time ago!
