I have stayed at this hotel before so obvious was happy with it. But this time there was a problem with builders starting work at 7am outside your window. The answer would have been to shut the Windows and turn on the air conditioning but the air conditioning is turned off to the rooms. The staff were helpful and did move us to quieter rooms which were not as bad though you could still hear the noise but it is difficult to recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to sleep beyond 7am.

This is a hotel that prioritises profit over customer comfort and sleep. In warm weather the rooms on the top floors are unbearably hot. The company has chosen to not allow the air conditioning to work until they decide it is summer. It was 22 degrees today. Our whole weekend has been ruined by lack of sleep. Staff will flit between telling you it is broken or the truth- management won’t allow it. If you ask for a fan, they will tell you they will send one- it doesn’t arrive. You can only open the windows crack - you then have to contend with real noise from industrial bins being emptied at around 5:30 am - with the windows closed you may be able to sleep through this. Dreadful.

I would like to mention the advantages of the hotel first, excellent location, good breakfast, clean room. But the flaws of the hotel were the small room and the slightly rude staff,On weekends, the noise outside the hotel is a bit annoying.

Nice hotel in the centre of Pest and very convenient for visiting the attractions etc. Breakfast was great with a big variety of cold and hot dishes. Beds comfortable, room clean and quiet. Reception was helpful and arranged for a packed breakfast the day we were flying as our flights was early in the morning.

Ruined my honeymoon

Stayed here for our honeymoon. We were given a room close to the building works which meant a lot of noise. The weather in the as around 17/18 degrees and the heating was still turned up all the way. We asked for a fan and were given one full of dust, after cleaning it we used it however it did not cool the room. We turned on the AC which blew out warm air so we contacted reception who advised we could open the window full after signing a waiver. With this done we had the window fully open however the noise and dust coming from the building works made it extremely difficult to breath in the room. After speaking to reception again we were told to he could only give us a DOWN GRADED ROOM and wouldn’t get a refund for the room we paid for. The building works were from around 6:30/7am until around 7pm. The bed we had was 2 single beds pushed together which meant it was so uncomfortable. This hotel has well and truly RUINED my honey moon!
