It is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel when we visited Barcelona. The bad experience we had was that I forgot a bag with cosmetics, then I contacted the hotel and they told me it was not there. I needed to get it back because I had kept a valuable item, I think that's why the staff didn't return it. This poor service and lack of honesty from the person (waitress in room 525) who found that case makes us think about NOT staying again on our next visit to Barcelona or in some of the NOVOTEL chains.

The hotel is decent very large rooms. Very friendly staff. Restrooms that dont lock. The only problem is its not really near anything useful. Its surrounded by what looks like warehouse areas and freeways. You will need a ride to get anywhere.

The hotel is terrible; I didn't check the reviews because I trusted it was a Novotel. The carpet was disgusting; there was a cigarette on the floor, and it seemed not clean before our arrival. The door has knife scratches as if somebody tried to open it from outside. We called an Uber to pick us up, but there was a long line of people waiting for a taxi, and they started complaining and trying to steal our taxi. It was the worst experience ever in a Novotel. NO WIFI

Very bad... Don't ever choose this hotel. it is old and very dirty. Even the towels were stained and No water in the room. There was a long queue in the reception and the receptionist was not so friendly.

Firstly, all staff were very friendly and helpful for any of our needs. They are not to blame for the poor state of the hotel. For management and the owners, this is definitely not your average 4 star hotel. Rooms are tired, dirty and the whole site needs an urgent investment in refurbishment or drop it to 2 stars! The housekeeping manager needs to be addressed on what “room cleanliness” is, as it’s obviously not being addressed by the Hotel manager. Breakfast has a reasonable variety of items but again for a 4 star hotel providing me with syrup mix for orange juice is unacceptable. Instead of having individual condiments we are all sharing a block of butter, a jar of Nutella, a jug of yogurt. Just messy and more wastage than providing guests with individual options which can be put away if not used creating less food wastage. The hotel is a bit far out from the centre but you can catch a tram directly in and it’s relatively cheap too.
