Excellent staff. Good location. Basic rooms - would be good with a safety box and a coffeemaker. Breakfast is ok, Good restaurants nearby - especially the Italian one block to the left. The hotel is a 10 minute slow walk from the railway station .

After one night at Ibis Styles Namur, i stayed a couple of nights in the Ibis Centre . Well located if you are on foot and opposite a Proxy Delhaize for your convenience . Although my group arrived at 11.00 , and although the rooms were not ready , the front office manager did her utmost best to accommodate us as soon as possible and this in impeccable Dutch . The hotel is older then Styles and lacks its design , the rooms are smaller , everything is a bit “ less “ but the peace and quiet , the plentiful well running breakfast and the truly friendly service make it an excellent choice .

The beds are small and very light, prefab bathroom, no extra blankets or cushions (only one), only one low quality towel. Breakfast, everything was there, but also basic. It's ok to stay, but don't expect more.

I presented myself with a valid hotel reservation via Wallonie Pass and the Accor website and tried to check in at the reception. The receptionist did not accept the Wallonie Pass as means of payment although it is clearly stated on the website. I quote the receptionist ‘I am not familiar with how to process your booking therefore I will not accept you’. On my request to call a manager, or anybody responsible, replied ‘it is not my problem, I am just a front desk employee,next please’, and he ignored me completely. I called Accor Reservations and Wallonie Pass, where I got from both sides confirmation that I should be accepted. Upon asking him to listen to Accor on my phone’s speaker, he turned his eyes away and left the front desk. I decided to stay in a more welcoming environment in another hotel acceptong the Pass Being a travel industry professional on a private trip, this behaviour is unacceptable, and I will review my company’s travel policy to avoid Accor where possible

I came for a conference in Namur, small but clean room, small functional bathroom, little charm but low prices, the breakfast was too simple, staff were good check in and check out fast, no particular problem
