My husband I had dinner at the attached Marco Pierre White restaurant then went into the hotel bar area - it's very tastefully decorated, reasonably priced and very relaxed. We are often in the area but had never visited before - if in the area we will definitely pop in and highly recommend visiting to others.

Service for the room was awful.

We stayed here before and it was fine. This time it was awful: for two nights in a row, the room was not made. I complained and the second night, when we returned, the bed was made (not on the first night, though). When I opened the bed, I saw a stain, which was on the internal part of the duvet: it looked like a blood stain. The next morning I complained to reception and showed them the pictures, asking them to change it and put a clean one in. It wasn't done, so my last night there I still had the same duvet with the blood stain.

Too hot even in March

Stayed for one night. Room was decent, which felt fairly premium although an odd choice of cheap brown paper cups vs the rest of the room decor etc. Main issue, too hot! No air conditioning as in winter it’s only for heating, but even with that turned off and the window open all night, it remained at 23 degrees which is just uncomfortable for me. And the window open meant it was sometimes noisy. I won’t be staying here again purely because of that which resulted in a poor nights sleep.

OK, beds could be better

Stayed here for one night 10th - 11th Feb, good hotel perfect location close to tube stations, rooms were adequate ours had a balcony there is however no real comfortable chairs in the room and the bed advertised as a king wasn't and was uncomfortable very soft and you do roll together, poor really as its not a hotel stay where your in the hotel a lot so a comfortable bed is a must for us. Communal areas were great we had breakfast and couldn't fault it. Staff were great as well.
