Had a one night stay while returning from Sydney. I was very dubious and worried prior to my stay due to the previous bad reviews. Our room was freshly painted new furniture and new smart TV. We had a separate kitchen and the double glazed windows kept street noise to zero. The pool and sauna was clean and quiet. The restaurant was fantastic attentive staff and brilliant food. The car park was easy to get to and covered and secure. The hotel is close to Civic which is excellent if you want to shop or see a movie. Definitely would recommend.

I am one of the regular guests at this hotel. But not anymore. Got really disappointed in January and April visit. Forget about the carpark. Arriving midnight? No parking space. Whole family had to walk back from the nearest carpark to the hotel. Safety of my family was put into danger middle of night. Carpet in the wholeways and rooms are not clean. Tables in the lobby had a stain of drinks. Not sure when was the last time cleaned. Breakfast is not ans before. Short staffed. Management is just cost cutting. Lots of stuff are taken from the rooms. List goes on

We are sorry to hear that our carpark was full when you arrived at the hotel late at night. It is also disappointing to hear that you found the hallways marked. As part of our preventative cleaning program all hallways carpets have just had their scheduled carpet shampooing. We have made no changes to our resourcing levels and do apologise that you felt we were short staffed during your visit. Terrible service. Can’t get hold of reception or room service on phone. Made room up for 3, advised only 2 staying and repeatedly promised to reconfigure rather than folding bed taking up space. They promise to do so but nothing happens. Charge and then can’t refund and staff don’t seem to care

Reliable hotel chain with above average facilities

One bed apartment had comfy king bed , two TVs and good sized bathroom with decent shampoo. Step into bath was high but it had railings . Kitchen area is near front door and is a small dark space with basic kitchen - microwave , two bar fridges , toaster ( broken replaced with another broken one) - no sharp knives or salad bowls or comfy couch ( that was in bedroom) . Excellent large pool, spa, sauna and outside deck but lots of families using it most of the time . Breakfast was buffet and included hot and cold food and was good . Parking expensive but we parked for free in the street as it is free on weekends and holidays . Easter weekend they had a 15% surcharge on food so either get included when you book or pay $40 . Location was fabulous near tram, coach and 5 min walk to main shopping mall and restaurants . Can recommend the Ride Shop on Lonsdale for bike hire - easy town to bike around with lots of separated bike lanes and a mostly flat city . Staff stored my bike for me . Helpful staff especially the level 2 cleaning team . Level 2 is also the pool/gym floor so can get noisy try to stay away from the pool corridor and ask for a west facing room as ours got hot in the arvo .

The beds were amazing, so soft and comfortable. The Staff were amazing, the front desk were always happy to give any help they could. The restaurant team gave an amazing experience and the housekeeping team were incredibly professional when cleaning my room. Cannot wait to stay again!
