Most atrocious service, ever

Absolutely atrocious. It calls itself a 4 star hotel, advertises air conditioning on its own website, advertises room service (or just food) until 2300 and both of the above are false advertising. No air con available despite unseasonally warm weather. Kitchen closes at 2130 and the sole staff member manning the bar/gallery restaurant doesn’t care. Reception staff are nonchalant, shrugging in response to most issues and management probably cares even less. Don’t bother staying here, ever. Budapest is a beautiful city, but these people are single handedly ruining its reputation and bring embarrassment to its nation

We stayed for the 4th time at this wonderful 1910 built hotel with a rich history in the artistic world of it's time and we booked for the second time the beautiful welcoming suite Blaha Luiza (the legendary soprano present in the lobby as a small statue, in the albums and photographs, after whom also the square and Metro/Tram/Bus stations in front of the hotel are named). Welcoming staff (special thanks to Nora who helped with a seamless early check in), tasty breakfast and comfortable MGallery facilities. We will return with great pleasure and thank you for keeping the high standard of a great host.

Beautiful old style hotel fully renovated in Budapest

The general ambiance in the hotel was very soft and cosy. The well renovated building highlight the architecture of the old style hotel. Located on a renovated place in front of several line or tram and the metro so well located. 3 metro stops to go to the Parliament.

Stunning hotel, exceeded our expectations the decor is beautiful. Brilliant location. Staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good lots to choose from. The rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. Our only complaint was the tv channels it would have been nice to have another channel that wasn't the news even if it was dubbed to English. Would definitely use again.

Super friendly staff, good location, very easy to get around, metro line M2 just outside hotel. Very reasonably priced and comfy room. Tea and coffee in room and they gave me some fresh milk at breakfast time to take back to room. Good quality toiletries in bedroom, small but functional bathroom
