The room here is clean thanks to the house keeping lady. The Concierge, Kevin Lee is very patient and helpful, help me to book kakao and my spa. Went extra mile to assists my enquires. Appreciate all the staffs here in Novotel for being helpful and patient in attending my queries. 5 stars for you all :)

I just left the Novotel Amabassador Seoul Gangnam after having stayed there for three months! Extending my stay week by week, the reservation manager, Alex, went out his way to accommodate me and make me feel welcome. The concierge staff, especially Jeanne, and Pearley, and other wonderful concierges, answered any question I had, made me feel welcomed and at home, and initiated creating musuem and art itineraries for me. Staying for that long a time, I was cared for by the person cleaning my room, Angela, who left me with a sparkling clean room every day. She was indispensable to me, warm and engaging in meaningful conversations that brightened my day. Bella and Chloe were in charge of the executive lounge, where I spent hours working and enjoying the daily evening buffet daily. They too, made my stay so much more personable - as if among friends. I have been very impressed with the management of the hotel - the wonderful crew, the thorough cleaning, the accommodating front desk staff, the personable and helpful concierges, the excellent house keeping staff. Novotel Gangnam is a uniquely well run and well managed well hotel that I will always whole heartedly recommend to any traveler.

I stay in Novotel Gangnam in a regular basis as the location is convenient and room is clean and well maintained. And I like the variety of the breakfast provided by Square. I recently stayed from Feb 26 to Feb 29. I like the efficient and polite services from the concierge very much. I met Pearly and a couple French ladies there. I lost my scarf in the lobby area and they would be able to quickly search and found for me. Pearly from HK is so nice who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. She recommended a couple Korean Barbecue restaurants nearby. We went there and had a trial. We felt very fulfilled with the delicious Korean beef and affordable price

The room was neat. Everyone I accounted were very friendly and accommodating. Especially, I'm so grateful for Isabelle who helped me make my reservation. She was so kind and careful in every process. concierge staffs were also kind and thanks to the reception staff for free room upgrade. I really appreciate it. Thanks to all, we traveled happily!

Great Location, everything else pretty terrible.

Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. The interior is okay- but very very dated. My first room was horrible. The bath tub was old, with the shower curtains sticking to you when you bathe. Requested to be transferred to another room with no bath tub, which was way newer and cleaner. Pros: It was nice that the TV had netflix, and the location was good. People at the reception/lobby were super nice and helpful. Cons: Inconsistent service. Called the front desk 3 times in the evening and no one could speak english or offer any support with no option of transferring me to someone. This should be the bare minimum for an international hotel. Moved to the Grand Hyatt Yongsan for the next 6 nights, and it was like day and night difference in terms of service and reliability.
