We recently had a trip to Melbourne and chose the Ibis hotel based on photos and reviews. However, our actual experience was somewhat different. The photos showcased the hotel’s best features, which unfortunately we didn’t get to see in person. The restaurant looked the same as in the photos, but the breakfast fell short of our expectations. The WiFi was unreliable, and the TV refused to connect to it—earning it the label of a ‘stupid’ TV by the secretary. On the bright side, the hotel’s location was perfect, and we were satisfied with the room’s cleanliness. Breakfast was decent and offered a variety of options. In hindsight, spending a bit more might have resulted in a better overall experience.

Thanks again for a most enjoyable and comfortable stay at the Ibis Therry Street. Large quiet rooms with above average amenities - beds and pillows the most comfortable in the Accor network. A good choice of hot and fresh food for breakfast the kitchen is always en point and one can order poached or fired eggs

Weekend get away to Melbourne for Grand Final. Good check in and friendly staff that were willing to help. Large room that was very clean and well made up. Location is the north end of Elizabeth st in a quiet side street. Tram stop only meters away and with free trams in the city grid it was east to navigate our way around. Close to Victoria markets if that your thing. I will stay there again

Another fantastic stay at the Ibis Therry St Melbourne hotel and apartments. Again my recent stay ticks all the boxes for affordable accommodation in Melbourne with this Ibis in a great spot. The reception was most welcoming and professional with Clara, Youjin and Lauiri. Room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Free tram a stones throw away and just beyond the tram is the famous Queen Victoria Market. Breakfast was well done by Tsoi, although not the most extensive buffet what is on offer is adequate and of the highest standard truely does the job. Your hosts at Brekky including Kid and Jan will ensure your in good hands. Love the coffee thank you Jan. Also a quick shout out to May in housekeeping and Carlos In maintenance. Thank you team Ibis Therry St!
