good location for the hotel , as we were seeing something at the Guildhall which is about 5-10 minutes walk away. the hotel is clean and tidy, but our room was tiny , and the bathroom was even smaller!! there was barely enough room to turn around and shut the door!! Breakfast was a good choice of hot or cold options.

Stayed for a few days with my daughter in one of the twin rooms. Overall really happy with my stay. Very clean and looked fresh. Staff were very polite and professional. We had breakfast on the last day of our stay and it was fairly good quality. It is a Buffett and there is a fair amount of option. There is a weatherspoons two minutes away which was also good and probably a little cheaper but the hotel was fine. The only thing to think about is that the bathrooms are small. There wasn’t really much room to manoeuvre but again clean and the shower was good. Also they charge 12 a day for parking in their Carpark. I accept the car is probably a little more secure than out int he street but I was not aware of this and you would need to add this to the daily rate if you were going to drive in. These did not cause to much issue and I would definitely like to stay here again. It’s central to everything which was in walking distance

Very good quality room for our one night stay.Breakfast Buffett very good quality & plenty of choice from Cooked English breakfast, Continental, to Fresh fruit & Bakery goods.Nice Tasting Coffee too One thing if your lights don't work pop your card in the slot for the lights.

Sallly I Solo travel - Ulasan TripAdvisor tersertifikasi

Room was freezing cold heater could not warm it up . Duvet was enough to help . 1 tea bag but two cups .. kettle no where near the plug . Had to go side ways to get to the loo. Extremely narrow. We ate in restaurant. Ordered at 5pm only 3 people in there it took 45 mins yo be brought out only at our request by this time we were running late . And when it did finally turn up chips were very cold. I gave up

Pay for parking when booked in as a guest???? Totally unreasonable!

I decided to take a break from my usual stopover hotel in Portsmouth and give Ibis a try. First impressions were fine - until I actually was required to pay £12 to park my car in their car park for the privilege of being a guest here! I was / am totally disgusted with this and can safely say this will be my first and LAST visit here. Had I not paid for the accommodation in advance with no refund, I would have walked out. The receptionist was very pleasant and I accept he does not have any say in company policy; In future I shall return to my regular place where I am not expected to pay to leave my car in their parking for my stay. Yes, pillows are soft and comfortable but only one provided and no spare in the room. Not impressed!!
