Hotel - perfect! Kind staff, very helpful. Room was better than imagined - delightful. Bed - so comfy! Location - awesome! Could walk to eateries. Eiffel Tower, Seine, and much more just around the corner. Beautiful photo opps everywhere! Felt comfortable anywhere I went.

We had a 'Superior ' Room in the 'old' part of the building. The rooms are small with much of the area taken up with a very high pillowy bed. The bed was comfortable although soft for our liking. The area is fabulous - you can walk almost anywhere and it's teeming with charming bistros offering good traditional French dishes and excellent champagne.

What do we get for $1,000/night? Half the time they couldn’t get simple breakfast orders correct—whether it was the woman answering the room service phone constantly cutting me off when I called to tell her what was missing from our order or in the restaurant when it seemed impossible to get a spinach, mushroom, and cheese omelet—seriously, 3 attempts, and you still couldn’t get it correct? It’s not even the Olympics, and you’re seriously fumbling. The floor outside the shower flooding because the doors don’t seal properly. Drilling and other construction noise at the hotel 7:00 am. I get it, the whole city is readying themselves for the Olympics, but at least have the good manners to warn guests about your construction noise so that they can plan accordingly.

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms that are nicely appointed, friendly staff. Clean, well maintained. Breakfast buffet is nice. Location is quiet yet convenient. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling as a couple, family or business.

Fabulous experience! Great hotel, location and the staff were really friendly! Will definitely come back. Rooms were comfortable and the madeleine were the best we had in our lives. And thank you for the room upgrade, definitely made our stay more enjoyable.
