Standard Citi hotel motel + like style. Not so clean. We were walk-in clients but Amy the receptionist didn't like we bothered her. She cared about our membership club ( does she get a bonus for that?) And when we asked about the pizza place she gave us the look that we are "flambes" if a look could be embarrassed this was the look. Bad experience.

Dear Mr. Brenner, We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. I would like to point out that you did arrive without a reservation on a busy midweek evening. You are quick to criticize Amy, who is generally considered helpful and friendly by our guests, but you made no mention of Leonie, who took the time to accompany your wife to visit four different rooms before making a booking. We are a part of a hotel chain and we are required to enroll guests in the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program. You wanted to negociate a special rate and with free enrollment you get a 5% discount starting with your first stay and earn points in all Accor hotels worldwide. Being that you are a professional traveler, I am surprised to learn that you only just signed up. A reservation directly through ALL will always be cheaper than through booking.com. We understand if you don't want to come back to this hotel but we hope that you will continue staying in Accor hotels and reach a membership level where you can enjoy the free upgrades that you so desire.

Comfortable hotel but you can hear cars all night long

We stayed here as a stop over during our journey to the Alps. The hotel is not soundproofed at all and it is located next to a road which is adjacent to bars/restaurants and the road is VERY noisy. You can hear cars screeching around all night. I have stayed in motorway hotels before and the noise here was a lot worse than those. I am a light sleeper and had requested a quiet room. We had a suite which included a double bed and separate sitting area with a sofa bed, the whole room was quite large and comfortable, no complaints there. When we checked in I asked to be away from the road as I immediately realised the noise would be a problem. The check-in guy said the type of room I had booked was only available on the road side and he would give us a room on a higher level so the noise didn't bother us but you could still clearly hear the noise. It was only a one night stay so we just put up with it. If we had been there any longer I would have down graded the room and gone the other side. The receptionist was very pleasant. We parked the car in the secure car park. We left early so didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

Clean and modern hotel, close to centre of the town so an easy walk. Only complaint was that air conditioning was turned off centrally. Very common in all the French hotels I stayed at. Why not let the customer decide if they want air-conditioning? We opened the window to get some fresh air and put up with a bit of street noise.

It is not possible to have both heat mode and cold mode simultaneously, and for obvious reasons we preferred to keep the heat mode on for the winter season. Thank you for your understanding. I was on a coach tour . Great location and friendly staff I was on third floor with elevator. Large shower modern room but room was dark the lighting isn’t good. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. I loved the hazelnut plant based milk. I would stay here again

Why so dark????

Staff are nice, beds are comfortable, location is excellent. The room is small, painted in mud grey, even with all lights on it is dark, the window is miniscule, the ventilator in the bathroom didn't work and thus it is highly overpriced for what it is. Same goes for the breakfast, nice but way too expensive.
