Like any IBS Stles, it is a small room, kept very clean and in a great location just off the Place de la Republique. The staff are friendly and helpful and the area seems safe and interesting. The breakfast buffet is generous and varied with the food always fresh and flavourful. Would definitely stay her again.

A nice and small hotel just behind Place de la République. Close enough to amenities, but away from the busy square The single room was very small, but functional. Not a lot of space to do anything else but sleep! Breakfast was alright, although it was a shamble on Sunday - coffee machine not working, orange juice machine blocked (two lovely German ladies cleaned it!) no croissants or cutlery. But the staff did their best I have it 4 star because up pay for what you get! If I were to go back, I’d pay for a double room!

Can’t be a real hotel no coffee making facilities not a 3 star hotel, could not swing a cat in the single room bathroom ok, it is however a good location lots of bars restaurants etc in the area but overall disappointing

Location gives this hotel a higher rating in my opinion. Close to the Metro and 30 minutes walk to Notre Dam. Nearby street, Rue René Boulanger had good bars and restaurants. Swapped rooms when we arrived, as the 6th floor room had sloped ceilings in the bathroom and anyone of average height would have difficulties standing upright in the shower. Breakfast was continental with an ample selection of eggs, breads, sliced meat and freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall a good base to explore Paris.

We would not come back here again, it does not merit its three star rating nor its price.

Staff perfectly kind and generally helpful during stay. Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Location is fantastic. Room and hotel were clean. However, the room we were allocated (111) was bizarre and severely lacking in natural light. The window went out onto what was essentially a service vent, which staff passed through and could see into our room unless the curtains were pulled, further depriving us of natural light and reasonable levels of privacy. Lack of privacy was a theme. Cleaning staff ignored signs not to disturbed us on the door. On one occasion they even threw out some of our toiletries—perhaps thinking they were empty, but didn’t pick up other rubbish in the room. Mattress not particularly good, dipping in the middle. Very hot room, AC not particularly effective. Shower was very poor. Not enough water pressure to reach into the bath so you had to stand right by the taps to get a mediocre amount of water. Decor was extremely dated and in poor condition. Door to room was off staircase which felt less than safe. We would not come back here again, it does not merit its three star rating nor its price. Location ISN’T everything!
