Rixos Premium has a lot of plus points…but areas for further improvement

The upgraded suite had superb views, great bedding and shower products, and we were well supported throughout our stay by housekeeping (Hussain). Talking of staff, this is one of the Rixos’ assets, from checkin (Bebin) to the pool and restaurant waiting staff, all were respectful and always helpful. Can’t say the same for some of the suited restaurant managers who treated the staff appallingly by European standards. The pool area is amazing, having been refurbished and extended significantly since our previous visit. A small criticism is the daily battle to grab beds in prime spaces often from 07:00. Designating two significant areas for private use exacerbates available space for paying guests unless you want to spend your time packed like sardines on the beach. We love music, but the volume was so loud at times it was overwhelming. The food - breakfast and dinner - is excellent; there’s an abundance of food catering for all tastes and is beautifully presented. The only criticism is that serving spoons are often placed on top of food after handling, a serious contamination hazard. Finally, Dubai has come along way to discourage passive smoking in the past decade. It is therefore a pity the Rixos Premium does not limit smoking to outside tables only in the restaurant.

The hotel’s commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism is commendable. We appreciated the initiatives taken to reduce environmental impact. Also i would like to mention all Front Office employees who was very friendly and was really interest about my whole stay Mr. Bibin, Mr.Salman, Iness, Ivan. And also all the housekeeping team who used to clean my room. Wonderful stay!

Subash House keeping supervisor, we were very pleased and happy with the service. Everytime we need assistance, Subash was there to support. The room was also very clean. We will definitely come again and can suggest to families to enjoy their vacations.

Such an amazing hotel, clean, beautiful, so a lot of things to do. Stuff is super nice, especially Daniel in the entrance is super helpful and friendly 😊 will come back here again for sure and will recommend everyone this hotel! Restaurants are also amazing
