Örebro is an attractive city, well preserved with old areas along Svartån, the quiet river, and with new exciting architecture, business streets, pubs and cafés. In Örebro you’ll find Gustavsvik, the largest water park in Scandinavia located just a kilometer south of central Örebro.
Örebro's old town Wadköping is located on the black streams of Svartån. Wadköping contains many 18th century wooden houses with museums and exhibitions. Visit ”Finrummet” (the grand room) – with the Örebro Castle, rebuilt during the Vasa era. You may also visit the water tower outside Örebro, called Svampen (The Mushroom), a popular outlook tower with a great view.
