| | Back to the blue lagoon A dozen or so dive sites await you around the island. Beginners can practice at Tapu on the western side and at Toopua on the south. If manta rays are your thing, you'll just love the site at Anau, on the east side.
Windsurfing, kitesurfing Wind picking up? Get going! Grab your boards and head for one of the many spots on the island. Squeeze in among the sky-surfers already at the lagoon.
Riding in a dugout canoe The prime form of Polynesian transport, the dugout canoe with outrigger is also a great way to really visit the lagoon. Climb aboard for a tour of the island and relax to the hypnotic chants of the oarsmen. |
