|  | Local pontoons The region is great for walking, horseback riding, biking or kayaking. Wherever you go, you're bound to find a pontoon on the way. Crossing them is a little strange: you feel like you're walking on water.

Rügen It's possible to sail all the way to Rügen, Germany's largest island. What a fantastic view you'll have from your boat of the very steep chalk cliffs called the Stubbenkammer. |
