Tips from Accorhotels.com
- When to visit?
May through to October is the best time of the year in terms of temperature. June is also a good time as the city hosts the International Street Performance Festival, and May to November is known for being a period of music festivals.
- How to get around?
The metro, tram and bus networks are great throughout the day, and give way to a special bus service later at night; the metro runs until 3AM on Friday and Saturday. If you want to take a taxi, be sure to only choose those with a clear “Taxi” sign along with a company name and telephone number.
- Good deals:
Take a walk around the Praga district, one of the only parts of the city to be spared the worst of the War – here you can truly capture the popular bohemian atmosphere.
