Novotel Darwin Airport is located next to Darwin International Airport. It is a short drive from the Darwin Central Business District, Casuarina Square Shopping Centre, Marrara International Sports Complex, Crocodylus Park and the other major tourist attractions from the Tourism Top End. Perfectly suited for both business and leisure travellers.
Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory in Australia and serves as a gateway to Kakadu National Park.
Loong Fong Restaurant specialises in Chinese Seafood cuisine and is located on the ground floor. It serves providing a daily buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner.
The bar, located adjacent to the pool, is open daily from 12noon and offers a wide variety of beverages to escape from the Darwin heat.

Shuttle to Novotel was quick for early morning check in. Confirmed with reception 2 BR suite with 4 free breakfast for 4 nights. Many negative points after that: Bathroom shower knob broken. Basin sink clogged. Found many small cockroaches on Kitchen sink. Call to reception unanswered. Had to go downstairs to complain but was told no vacancies for same type of suite. Suggested to him to give us another room to shower. No maintenance or housekeeping after hours. Awaken by fire alarm at 6.38am. Was evacuated to ground floor outside. Was told someone burned incence in room. Breakfast at Essence across the road. Was asked what coffee we want as we marked down 4 on paper. Told her cappuccino but was not told they were chargeable as did not sign any docket. Came back later in evening and was told bathroom fixed. However found basin still clogged and water leaked down pipe inside the cabinet wetting all towels. Management moved us to another apartment when told no rooms of the same size earlier. Found twin beds old and slanting, very uncomfortable and could not sleep well for next 3 nights. There was only a electric plugged in pan in the kitchen. Still many cockroaches running around kitchen and bathroom. Was told by reception this is common there. No spray was given. On 3rd night, I asked the reception whether I have any extra room charges. Was told we had to pay fir breakfast. Told him breakfast for 4 should be included in room rate as advertised as I am a member of Accor. Had to show him my booking receipt again to convince him as he said breakfast was only for member and not the rest of room guests. Asked him to check with Accor again as he seemed unclear after Novotel took over Rydges. However, at checkout, we were given a bill for cappucinos $37.60 which we were not made aware they were chargeable. We paid as we had to leave for a bus tour. Came back later and asked for a credit which until todate, 3 days after checkout, we have not heard from Novotel. Ate a late dinner st Long Foong restaurant. Was charged $120+ for 2 plates of fried noodle! When we questioned the lady owner, she admitted a calculation error and amended it to $77 which we found too expensive! To class this hotel as 4☆ is questionable. Hope the level of service can be improved as I am too ashamed to bring my friends for a visit again.

Free pick-up was easy to use with sign at airport and sign posted pickup area outside. Rooms at Novotel were rather small for a Novotel Motel but clean and tidy. Reception was efficient in checkin and check out.
Hi gordotheone, thank you for your feedback and pleased that our improved signage since changeover was easily identified and seamless. A tip for travellers is depending on the time of year see what room types we have available as there is a family room which has a Kind and a Single generally in it which are much larger than the standard rooms as well.
