« Slow restaurant service »

Location good,although don't get the hotel to order taxi as the charge was excessive. Had to wait for our meals in the restaurant for a very long time. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast average but at least an English breakfast and not a basic continental which is OK if you are on a diet.

« Good location for airport access »

Overall a good hotel for overnight stay with hoppa bus access to Heathrow airport. Good food and friendly staff. On site free parking a plus as we had a hire car.The room was a good size with a big bathroom.

« Fabulous ! »

Again a wonderful stay here again.I always mention the Front Desk Team and this time I had the Wonderful Alzira Fernández to Meet & Greet me. Her huge infectious smile lights up the Reception and her friendly and courteous nature is a true asset to this Hotel. The Room as always clean..comfortable. and quiet..well needed after a very long flight. Thank You.

« Good location for Heathrow... nothing more! Fleas in the area! »

The hotel is well located near Heathrow, 10 min drive from the airport. It has a shuttle service for 5£ one way. The parking costs 10£ but... there is no control... One can avoid this cost if it wants to. It's a bad airport hotel: restaurant is bad and service takes really long (40 minutes waiting for a simple pasta... without taste!) breakfast (poor) starts at 6:30AM (!) Late for an Airport! Cleaning is an issue, one can see it in all angles, in the room, in the restaurant... all over the hotel. In my case I suffered a fleas attack during the night and I reported it. The fleas attack may have been an accident but... the way the hotel people took the case, (they simply didn't care!) Gives a clear image of the way the hotel is managed. Consequence: second night... second fleas attack! If one knows Mercure hotels... This one is Not a Mercure Hotel Standard...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience following your recent stay. I am sorry that elements of your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. In direct response to part of your feedback, I can assure you that immediately after you made your report to the Duty Manager regarding your concerns, the bedroom was thoroughly inspected for insects by trained Housekeeping staff and nothing was located. We also ensured that a qualified pest control officer investigated the allegation after your departure, again with no findings. I can also confirm that prior to and, since your stay, no similar reports have been made. With regards to car-parking, whilst there are no physical barriers, the car park is controlled by vehicle recognition cameras. These automatically log any vehicle that leaves without being registered and activates an automatic fine via the Car-park Management company. If a vehicle is a rental vehicle, the rental company also charges a Admin fee for paying fines with credit card details left during the rental period. I would advise all guests to ensure their vehicles are registered with the hotel during their stay, to avoid any inconvenience. On a more positive note, I was pleased to read that you found the hotel location ideal for the Airport. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Yours sincerely Richard Jackson General Manager

« Good hotel »

Good hotel. Good facilities. Good breakfast. £10 parking. Staff were friendly. Quite a lot of parking spaces, so didn't struggle to park. Hotel can be improved in terms of looks etc as it feels a bit old. Overall good for a night stay.

« bad service »

They don't care about the customers, I usually stay at Sofitel terminal 5, I have decided to stay at this hotel and was a big mistake, it is better stay at Premier inn or similar. The put me by the carpark, AC controlled by reception so room was very hot I count sleep and then a large group arrived a midnight and they were all over the place making a lots of noise, the hotel didn't care for whose was trying to sleep or sleeping. This hotel it is just a busyness not care for if you are comfortable or welcome after a long journey or preparing for a long journey.
