Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa is a French luxury resort hotel on Sentosa island. Situated atop the cliff above Tanjong Beach, the 215-room property is a haven of tranquility and relaxation with its collection of 4 unique dining establishments, award-winning spa and a Celebrations & Events Centre. The resort will be hosting a major event from 4 to 12 December 2016 which may inadvertently disrupt some of the hotel facilities during this period. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

The resort hotel is located on Sentosa Island, a 25-min drive from Singapore Changi Airport. Complimentary shuttle bus services are available to VivoCity shopping mall (HarbourFront MRT) and Paragon shopping mall located in the heart of Orchard Road.

« Can't wait to come back »

Love this place! The staff are great, and the layout is very spacious with beautiful lush greeneries. A great way to escape the busy city life of Singapore. And with the peacocks roaming around,it feels like you are living in a maharajah's palace!

« Walk very far to reach my room »

I call up around 12pm to ask for an update for my room. Inform by staff that she will call me once the room is ready. When she ask for my no. I replied her same as system. She tell me check in at 3pm I don't mind but not 4 or 5pm. To my disappointment, 4pm still didn't receive any call I waited till 4.30pm and call up to check. The same lady answer the phone. She tell me she try to call me but can't get me and when she double check and realised she did call but not my no. She then tell me she make a mistake. She didn't apologise and the room is ready. I waited at RWS shopping place to wait with my toddler. Checking in took sometime but overall service is ok. On the way in there is mosquitoes so bring insect repellent will be good. Our room is all the way inside instead of putting us in room which having air-conditioned in the walk way. My children got mosquito bites. Room is nice but the floor is untidy. One part of it the cloth is on the floor with room menu. I didn't make any feedback until the part when I need to make milk for my child there is lots of ants surrounding the coffee console. I tried to wipe it and end up my children thought is funny and mimick me. I left with no choice but to complaint at the reception. I think is not right if guest check in late and you expect the guest to check out early. As a 5 stars hotel, I sincerely felt that if the caused is by hotel then shouldn't expect guest to call to request for late check out. At the end of the day, if the service is not there guest won't patronize again. For the delayed in check in I expect to check out at 1.30 or 2pm. Basically we didn't have enough time to use any facilities or explore the hotel.

« Wedding Anniversary Cum School Holiday Staycation »

It's our 2nd time staying in this hotel after it was renamed as Sofitel Singapore Sentosa. It was meant to be our wedding anniversary celebration. We have indicated during our reservations that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. However, to our disappointment, we are offered only a slice of cake with the wedding anniversary tag. Being a prestigious hotel with spa facility and us being the Accor member, we thought Sofitel would have done more than just offering a piece of cake to make the wedding anniversary celebration more memorable, but I guess we have set too high an expectation. Other than the disappointment mentioned above, the overall experience is great. The staff are friendly. The room is nice. The complimentary fish spa is a great experience for us, first timers. We like to swim in the pool. We like the environment as it's peaceful, quiet and serene.

Checking in was unpleasant. Front desk don't link 2 of my bookings despite stating in the online check-in. I assume Gold member will have automatic upgrade of room but I have to remind and request. The lobby bar waiter wasn't paying attention to our order. Waited for the chicken wings and didn't come, he argued we did not order. Another waitress step in and offered apology.

« Nice Family Relax Resort Hotel »

This fabulous resort hotel is located on Sentosa Island, the same location with Resort World Sentosa (Universal Studios, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark). From Changi airport you can reach this hotel easily using MRT or Taxi. If you choose using MRT, you may stop at Harbourfront station and board the hotel shuttle from VivoCity, outside Jpot Restaurant. I stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The front desk staff was very efficient, checked us in quickly. The welcome drink is served @Le Bar. The hotel room is nice and very CLEAN. I got a greetings card, fresh tropical fruits, and thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine (as VIP Platinum member). The in room coffee machine is perfect for my morning drink. This hotel is a nice place to relax and family vacation. It has well-maintained park, swimming pool and fish spa. It provides shuttle services to Vivocity (every 30mins) and Paragon Shopping Center (two-hourly). If you want to have FUN around Sentosa Island, you may hop on Sentosa Island Bus 3 (every 35mins). Overal, we had a very enjoyable experience at this hotel and would definitely come back again. I personally, highly recommend this hotel, if you want a tranquil & luxurious escape and also family vacation.

« Great time »

Stayed for a couple of nights in the junior suite. Room very comfortable but a little dated. Bed extremely comfortable. Good choice at breakfast buffet but too busy and chaotic. High tea at the le bar was amazing - what a wide choice of food from dim sum, sandwiches, salads , hot dishes and delicious cakes. Plus many different teas to choose from. We didn't need dinner afterwards. Would definitely recommend. Swimming pool is lovely. Staff at hotel very helpful and friendly. Would re-visit.
