Loved the hotel! I would actually give it a 4.5 due to the wireless difficulty we had in our room. It worked fine in the hallway and the lobby. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was a Michelin 1 star that was super!! None compared in France. We ate at others in Beaune and Paris.
Dear Guest, Many Thanks for your nice comments. We are all very happy that you enjoyed your stay at La Citadelle Hotel but also your dinner in our Restaurant Le Magasin aux Vivres !! Kind Regards, Delphine & Christophe Dufossé
I had to stay unexpectedly in Metz, and checked for a hotel. THis hotel as the grandeur of a 5 star hotel for the price of a 3 star. Very nice restaurant with exquisite cuisine for a very affordable price. maybe a bit dated, but certainly not deteriorated!

Hotel OK. Very difficult getting there.Should advise their clients on the best way to get to the hotel by car.My navigation system could not find the road nor the hotel.Your website is not up to date.
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your remarks with us. Actually numerous works in town affected the navigation in Metz. But you should now find us more easily during your next stay to the Hotel The Citadelle. Delphine & Christophe Dufossé
Very friendly and accommodating staff on reception and breakfast, Our room was spacious and well insulated from the corridor with double doors. The room was cleaned very thoroughly, Location was within walking distance of the city centre and very pleasant and tranquil.
This hotel is way above itself in terms of cost and delivery. The bathroom is one of the worst designs I've seen. Despite having parking marked available on the website you are charged €15 for the privilege. If you pay the extra for a full breakfast you still have to pay for a freshly cooked breakfast. Avoid it if possible
