Shame about the derelict next door building and general run down appearance of this hotel. However once inside - bright, clean and very pleasant. Genuine warm welcome at the reception. Room small with a sea view. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Surprisingly little traffic noise despite overlooking the main promenade. Continental breakfast was OK. Bread rolls and pastries were always fresh and although there was not a great choice, for the price it was more than adequate. Coffee was excellent and on tap all day.
Return visit to this excellent Ibis Styles hotel in Blackpool. Welcomed by Craig (thanks again to Craig for looking after us especially my wife who has just had a hip replacement!) who has reserved one of the newly refurbished rooms overlooking the seafront. Well equipped and very comfortable. Bar area is light and bright and welcoming.
Well Located for eating Drinking and shows , Hotel staff pleasant and helpful , was worried that there was going to be a noise factor but I was impressed with lack of noise , we were lucky to get room with sea view
Reception staff were fantastic, taking an interest in our weekend and informing us of local events taking place that weekend. They dealt with a couple of issues we had immediately. The continental breakfast was refreshing with plenty of choice. The room was tired, bed linen was worn and tired and the outside of the shower door had mould and mildew at the bottom of the frame. The rooms need freshening up and housekeeping need to pay more attention to detail. The bedding needs renewing. As the room was I didn't feel it was value for money and would look elsewhere for accommodation in the future. If the rooms were fresher I would have no problem returning for the same money.
Dear 563olivia, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay but please accept my apologies for the issues with decor The hotel will be getting a makeover in the next month or so and we'll be looking at replacing and updating fabrics, carpets etc Thanks for the feedback Regards David
staff were frendly and helpful.room clean and tidy.enjoyed my stay.smashing view of the sea and sea front.the room was very quiet .security very good with having to use key cards to use on corridors.only downside the shower room could do with bath mat.
Stayed here on a business trip, just over one night. Good value for money. Right on the seafront across from North Pier and close to the tower. Bar / breakfast room a bit sparse and was packed in the morning at breakfast, but it did the job. Would stay here again, perhaps not for a holiday but perfect for a business trip or a weekend away with the missus.
Stayed here several times in the past and we receive the same standard of service, friendliness from staff, room cleanliness etc. Absolutely brilliant spot opposite the North Pier too. Walking distance to most places. Tram stop small walk from hotel in both directions. Would highly recommend.
Having stayed at an Ibis on several occasions I was disappointed with the look of this hotel, which seemed run down on the outside. The location is ideal, right on the seafront and as I upgraded I had a sea view. The room was clean, although very cold until I received assistance with the aircon. For the price, it was fine for a one night's stay but not a typical Ibis.
