Mercure Hotel Den Haag Leidschendam: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Friendly hotel"

Whilst out of the centre of The Hague the hotel is easily accessible by tram (3 different lines). Local restaurants within easy walking access of the hotel. Balcony was a surprise and added bonus - staff very friendly (cycle booking very easy) - making a very good time even better.

A very nice hotel, with a warm welcome on our late arrival.I would recommend this hotel great car parking and a tram close by will get you to Den Hague very quickly with no parking problems for your visit.

Location: Very good; Easy tram access to Delft or The Hague city centre; shopping centre nearby, small lake next door and good restaurants too. Free Parking!Overall we good the "normal" Mercure experience, i.e. quite big rooms, large bed, good service. Our rooms showed some signs of wear and tear but were still fine.Instead of paying the laughable price of 20Euro for breakfast we simply walked 30metres to get an excellent breakfast in one of the lakeside restaurants. Bottom line: Mercure quality + Free parking + easy access to public transport -> Top notch deal

This is because of the early booking offer. Good service in this hotel out of the city but easily accessible with tramway connexions. I had diner at the hotel restaurant, which has nice atmosphere and good service and decent menu with a gastronomic touch.Even if the hotel has been a Mercure hotel for a few month, the comfort and modernity is not as good as I am used to with Mercure.Rooms are old-fashion and need to be refurbished (thick moquestry, poor light, unconvient furnichures). Bathroom looks very old and poorly maintained.The temperature in the room when I arrived was something like 15.C ! Heater was off... Not really a welcoming feeling...
