Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "good service mind fast responds"

1st March 2013, iamprettykate, Bangkok, Thailand

Room hand over is not ready while i was getting into the room. After call service to clean out all wet towel off from bathroom. front staff decided to change new room and a lot of apologize from every department. Even on check out date while driving back to my home town. Manager also gave me a big impression with sincere sorry and explain the issue. All thing that hotel give back is valuable than a small problem i got.

Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great Facilities but!"

27th February 2013, mjh101070, Hong Kong

Hotel was good for us as a family, the resort has a Kids World which actually caters for all children, from 1 to 16. It has cots in a private room next to the pool with a monitoring service, ball pool, padded play area, building blocks area and a pay per activity area for art, all very cheap at a max of 350 Bhat. Also for older children there is a movie room, pool table, fooseball table, computer game pods x 6 (xbox @ 50Bhat for 30 mins) and hanging chairs to sit and read or use your own Ipad or whatever. The downside was the cleanliness of the hotel in general, not so much the rooms but the breakfast room was pretty filthy, the floors were greasy and remains of food left over from yesterday were still under the tables.

Management responseDear mjh101070,I am happy and thankful to see your nice comments about our hotels facilities, but equally saddened when learning of your impression of our breakfast, I do sincerely apologize for not living up to our highly set standards at breakfast; I have since then personally worked closely with my team and re-train the staff to make sure this does never happen again, and I am glad to share that we have received many great comments about our breakfast; feedback such as yours, truly play an important role in improving our guest service. I hope we have a chance to welcome you back to our family friendly hotel again.Once again, thank you.Sincerely,Alexander ParryGeneral ManagerNovotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort & Spa

Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "to go there with children...."

18th February 2013, zouzouParis19, Paris, France

Very good hotel for the price. Also perfect if you are travelling with children; there is a big space only for them, they have many different game to play and half of the swiming pool is specially not so deep for they can use it.Outside the hotel there is not so many things to do, you need to take a taxi to go anywhere but for few days its ok.

Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Service lacks consistency"

10th January 2013, BarHopperHongKong, Hong Kong

I had booked 3 rooms at special rate, which did not allow changes or refunds. When we checked in, we needed only 2 rooms, and recognizing the conditions of reservations, I explained at check in that although I cannot get a refund for one room, can I get breakfast added in lieu. The answer was standard party line about conditions. I asked to speak with the Reservations Manager, who came in repeating the same line. I finally asked for the General Manager (his assistant Patrick came in) and in 30 seconds agreed to give us F&B credit. The entire episode meant we had to wait ONE HOUR for check in with 2 small children (nobody offered any sympathy for that) but in the end, this ensured that we had all our meals at the Novatel for 2 days, and charged way more than the F&B credit. If the matter had not resolved satisfactorily by Patrick, I was determined not to spend a penny at the hotel. In the end, a win-win situation due to Patrick's intervention, but the hotel staff need to be better trained - they are in the HOSPITALITY industry. The service (both housekeeping and at the restaurants) was generally bad - it appears that people were not happy being there.

Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "A Good family hotel"

9th January 2013, Simon360, Bangkok, Thailand

Overall an excellent hotel for families with young children. The hotel has a good range of facilities and is clean and safe. Staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The service at the beachfront cafe was a little slow due to the hotel being a little under staffed in this area. The food here was ok but not as good as similar hotels that I've experienced in this region.

Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Happy Holidays"

5th January 2013

Novetel Cha-Am is a great place for holidays with family. There are a good landscape with a lot of facilities to enjoy, i.e. big swimming pool with water slide, huge kids' club, sand beach, playground for children. My kids love this hotel so much. Definitely, we will come back again for our next trip to Cha Am.
