Pullman Melbourne Albert Park (ex The Sebel Albert Park): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good hotel enjoyed stay"

26th February 2013, Robert D, Belconnen

Booked room with 2 beds that allowed 2 adults and 2 children. As I was a gold accor member was upgraded. Very nice loft room. Bedding for sofa bed was not in room. When leaving for dinner asked at reception to have sofa bed made up. Arrived back at 11 PM, no bedding for 4 year old who was asleep in our arms. Asked again and staff came and made up bed. Considering they upgraded us to the loft room as they knew we had 4 people one would have expected bedding for 4 people plus enough towels for 4 people. To me that is not good service. Stayed the next 4 nights in Novotel st Kilda 4 towels without asking what a bonus. Overall good hotel, clean, liked the coffee shop. Think they should offer advantage plus kids eat free with paying adults at breakfast. Also 50% discount on evening buffet.

Management responseThank you for staying at The Sebel & Citigate Albert Park Melbourne and for taking the time to post feedback on your stay. I would like to apologise in regards to the sofa bed not being made up when requested and that there was not enough towels in the room. Please note that I will be discussing this further with our Executive Housekeeper and Rooms Division Manager. Your time with us should have been a much smoother and enjoyable experience, and we hope to be provided with another opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel.

Pullman Melbourne Albert Park (ex The Sebel Albert Park): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice clean accomodation close to CBD and St Kilda"

17th January 2013, mrcraigmcg

Hotel located close to both the CBD and St Kilda and overlooks Albert Park Lake, fortunate enough to obtain a Lake view room which was pleasant to wake up too, also had views of the CBD. Room was very clean and minimal and is ideal for business use. Nothing too flash modern and pleasant.

Pullman Melbourne Albert Park (ex The Sebel Albert Park): 4.0 out of 5 stars "pleasant stay at citigate albert park"

17th January 2013, Ocean Grove

The location is a very short tram ride from the CBD on a major road, but our room had a view of the beautiful park beyond and traffic noise was minimal (double glazing?). The staff were always smiling and friendly. The rooms are plain but very clean and everything worked well, good bathroom and comfy bed. We had a swim in the pool, which was well maintained, and the gym looked to have lots of equipment, as well as a TV. We were in Melbourne to attend a show at the State Theatre in the Arts Centre, and it was great for that.

Pullman Melbourne Albert Park (ex The Sebel Albert Park): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Nice Gingerbread house display"

26th December 2012, canteencookies, Sydney, Australia

We stayed just a few days before Christmas and the hotel had a huge display of gingerbread housed at the lobby. It was very very nice. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The location was great for a walk around the lake, and we were lucky enough to find free parking near the hotel.

Management responseThank you for your review. I will be sure to pass this feedback onto our pastry Chef and his team who created the gingerbread village. The creation of the village took the team 3 days to complete, and I must say myself it does look fantastic. We look forward to seeing you at the hotel again in the near future.
