My family came to stay for the Parramatta Eels game at Commbank stadium and the proximity and location was perfect. Staff were very accomodating, had all three families on the same floor and the rooms were very comfortable. The only issue we had was that we ate dinner at the restaurant and asked for GF grilled fish and chips for my son and it clearly had gluten in it as he vomitted for two days. Everything else about our stay was perfect and we will be back.

Depending where you need to be in Parramatta, the hotel is close to the Theatre, football stadium & eat street area. Parking is available under the hotel for a charge. Front desk was very slow & if they were to smile, I think their faces would crack. They seem to have learnt a script & they say it, hand you your amenity gift & that’s it. Bar at 4pm was unmaned & front desk staff were of no assistance. Finally took a walk by staff member to take control until the person meant to be looking after the bar returned. I had booked the restaurant for dinner via the website & there was no mention of it being a limited bar menu that particular night, returning to normal the next day! Only found out when someone asked to see the restaurant menu & overheard the conversation. Bar menu very limited so we cancelled our reservation. We did receive a lovely upgrade to a top floor suite. The suite itself was lovely & the air conditioning worked well. The downside to the top floor is that only 1 out of the 3 lifts goes to the top floor so the wait was sometimes a bit ridiculous, particularly when waiting on ground level & the other 2 lifts were available so the one we needed didn’t seem to get the message it was needed!! Check out was uneventful.

Street noise is incredibly loud, with seals on windows broken making things worse. Room opposite lifts is a nightmare with every conversation (or screaming kids running around) hears very clearly. Staff seemed disinterested in general.
