The vaulted lounge features the original wood paneling and stucco from the turn of the century. The view of the dome of Gustav Vasa Church is more reminiscent of Paris then a northerly climate.

Perfect location! Kind and caring staff! Typical normal ibis breakfast. Small rooms (6th floor). Uncomfortable entrance to the bedroom because of the roof construction. Really narrow for moving there.
Very nice welcome by the receptionist. Room was spacious nice - VERY good bed - good night of sleep. Noise from the street, but I always sleep with windows open. Great breakfast in crowded breakfast room (was there during rush hour apparently). Internet good quality. Very close to Bromma Airport! No bar / restaurant / drinks dispenser. Sold at reception, but only Coke was available. You can purchase all at the 7 Eleven shop 200 m from hotel. Bathroom was terrible. Very small, and in contrast with the spacious bed room part (1,5m x 1,8m). Shower had not a shower tray, only a drain part. Closed shower curtain - you felt the curtain against your skin at all times. Sitting on the toilet… feet were at level of shower drain part.. and thus completely wet again. According to receptionist, rooms at 6th floor have larger bath room. Conclusion: would go back again but with assurance about the bath room size.
This isn't a luxury hotel, but it's well located, clean and perfectly good for a short stay in Stockholm. The breakfast is served over two levels. Once you've collected your food on a tray in the basement, you can go up to the ground floor. There's natural light and more space. It isn't immediately obvious though.
I arrived at night (after 10pm). Firstly, I was socked when I opened my room (Room 215), because of the strange smell in the room. Secondly, the bathroom was tiny awful. The water from the shower covering the whole floor of the bathroom. Really the whole bathroom. Wet wet wet everywhere. I made a video of it IF you need it as a prove. Thirdly, I got twin bedded room. I went to the reception and told her my dissatisfaction. She could not do anything as the hotel was fullybooked (she explained). There was a single bedroom available IF I would like to change. I refused as I paid double room and I already requested to have a kingsize bed on the early day I made the booking (about a month before arriving). She suggested me to talk to her Manager in the morning. So i came back to room 215. I opened the windows for some hours and the smell does not go. It was really hard for me to sleep at that night. The smell was really strong. I woke up around 4am and tried to find out the source of the smell. My nose was like a detection dog searching for drug. I found carpet between the bed and bathroom was wet. Finally I found the main problem. The carpet area near the bathroom and bed was humid. I tried to continue my sleep BUT was hard. So, I woke up and went to see the Manager. I explained all about it and we went to my room together. I just wanted to show that I am not making a story. She noticed the humid ufriendly smell in my room when she opened the door. I directed her to the wet carpet area. I shown her the tiny bathroom and wet everywhere when I take a shower. (in this case, the fault was from the Housekeeping staff. They know the condition of every room they are cleaning. Why don't they call the reception about it? I am sure IF the Housekeeping would do that, this glitch will not be happened). So, we went down to the reception desk together. As I still have another 4 nights to spend, she finally assigned me to have a room that I had requested. Finally I got my room and I am happy until the rest of my stay. I surely will come back again to stay in this hotel, because now I know which room I want to have.
Lovely little hotel not too far from the center of Stockholm. Good room in a stylish old building. Really lovely staff! Beds and chairs not too comfortable unfortunately. Shops nearby and very close subway station were really a bonus.
