The first room we got shown was not like the pictures on line. And City View I would call Carpark View. However staff were helpful and allowed me to view another room which we then upgraded too. The room was way nicer and we enjoyed our stay , but this ment our stay was way more than we had budged on. Also aspects of the room we stayed in does appear tired- paint, scuffing makes on walls old couch, but bed comfortable and layout fun.

Comfortable stay. Nice room, with kitchenette facilities, but missing some items like one bowl, and 1 teaspoon. Shower was very poor with no water pressure and just warm enough. Glad it wasn't middle of winter and couldn't have washed my hair.

Great location with plenty of nearby dining options. Absolutely worth paying a little more for the Marina View rooms.

I visit Auckland, New Zealand at least once or twice a year to visit family.. And 9/10 times we’ve stayed at The Sebel Viaduct. We paid for a Suite, and our bedroom window looked out straight onto a building wall. I asked to be moved, and they assisted. The cleanliness has had a real decline, and the staff who maintain the room daily, have no pride or care in their work. They completely missed one day, and I was told ‘It’s too late now’ by front desk, with no apology nor any recognition of it being missed. I really enjoyed staying their regularly, but will definitely be looking elsewhere next time.. Which is a shame. We paid for a Suite, and our bedroom window looked out straight onto a building wall. I asked to be moved, and they assisted.
