« Short stay »

Different expectations when handling luggage prior to checkin. Mouldy bathroom with a strong mould smell. Leaky taps and shower holder was half broken, posing danger when one were to accidentally knock into it.

« GREAT LOCATION- NEAT AND TIDY »

We stayed at the Ibis Shinjuku at the end of March and we found the hotel and staff very accommodatiing and friendly. We requested a quiet room which we received. The location was wonderful, just a 2 minute walk to the railway stationa dn main shopping area. It was also walking distance to the Cherry blossoms in the Goyen...no complaints here...nice hotel.

« Small japanese hotel in a good location »

I was hoping to get upgraded with my platinum card butno such luck. They put me in the smallest room in the hotel. It was tiny. Not even a chair or desk. The TV is all in japanese, even BBC news, as are almost all rhe instructions. I would expect some English translations in an international chain hotel. Breakfast was simple but ok, apart from the fact that they couldn't handle the number of people and every time some items had run out and were not replaced at least not during the time I spent eating there. Overall clean, and convenient location but not quite worth the price.

Dear Kastelma, Thank you for your honest comment to our property. We give our best to fulfill all the wishes our guest expectation, i'm sorry we could meet yours. As you said we are a international Chain, so therefore we are right now going to make some international adding, as example the instruction of the inventor in the room, like TV or Air Conditioning. Your input about the not upgraded room even you are a precious LeClub Member as well as the poor service at the breakfast will be taken serious and we start to change as soon as possible to the positive way.
