Review of MGallery Hotel Parc Beaumont - Pau, France. Just spent 1 night here and very happy. The staff were very welcoming and obliging. We were given a room overlooking the park and they provided a map of the town explaining where everything was. Provided with complimentary drinks and as we left offered bottles of water for our drive. We had booked parking but when we arrived they said they weren’t busy and we could park out front for free or in the garage , as booked, for €15/day. We of course parked for free. The room itself was quite large, huge bed, 3 chairs to sit in (most hotels only provide 1) and had a shower plus a seperate bath. The toilet was in its own space - bonus. Plenty of cupboard space as well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and admire the stunning view of the Pyrenees. The restaurant was closed for dinner so we had dinner in the bar. We both had the special duck - delicious. Breakfast was in the dining room with a good buffet selection. Would definitely stay here again.

We often stay at this hotel and have always found it lovely and consistently good. The Bar food is delicious and the portions amble. The rooms are clean and very comfortable beds. The position is lovely.

Room was very moldy in the showers which also did not drain properly and it was gross to stand in dirty water. I asked for a new room and they claimed the technician fixed the drain problem which was not true at all. It was a handicap shower room that flooded into the bathroom. When they finally moved me, the next room was even worse and more mold and by then i was reacting badly to the mold. I took photos, black mold throughout the shower caulking. The room service was good but the experience overall was horrible and to make me sick is extremely frustrating.

The staff at front desk helped me reorganize my booking for better conditions, the staff at the bar helped us find a table despite having no reservation. The hotel is clean, comfortable, quiet.
