"Unbelievable Location and Impeccable Service"

I have been fortunate to travel extensively with work over the years, especially throughout Asia where the service culture is of a high standard. The service that we received from the team at Sails in the Desert was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived until the time that we left the resort, the staff could not be faulted. It was refreshing not having to think on a holiday, they were alway a couple of steps ahead. The facilities of the resort are impeccable! Good work Ayers Rock team we will be back.

Lovely refurbished room. Loved the carpet design and wish I had taken notice of what brand the bed was because it was better than my own. Service was great especially Laurence on reception. Food at Geckos was fantastic also. Wish I could afford to stay longer.

Sails is under going a major renovation affecting the restaurants and reception area but the rooms are gorgeous, staff helpful and location ideal - only disappointment was that we only stayed one night!

The only thing I could recommend is the shuttle leaving for the airport, could leave the hotel 30 minutes to 1 hour later. Sitting in an airport for close to 2 hours is not pleasant. Would be much better to be able to stay by the pool or have an early lunch in restuarant before flight. As the restuarant does not open until 11am.
