"Rooms average quality and could be better"
7th July 2013, 2836, Sydney
Location is good and convenient with the resort town centre very handy. our family of 2A+2C enjoyed the stay but felt that the rooms could be slightly better maintained as they felt old and not renovated for quite some time. Good information available at the reception and staff was quite helpfulView management response »
Management responseDear 2836Thank you for your review and I pleased to read of the enjoyment you and your family had exploring the local area and resort facilities. As previously noted the resort is currently going through a refurbishment program. Sails in the Desert and our conference centre were completed in the November 2012. The rest of our hotels and outlets will be enhanced over the next couple years. I am sure your comments will be addressed during these enhancements.I would like to wish you all the best on your future travels.Kind RegardsLeon PinkGeneral ManagerDesert Gardens Hotel
"Uluru - the big red rock!"

Emu Walk & the Voyager complex is well managed & we enjoyed our stay & dining at the Desert Gardens & Sails Restaurants. Being a member of ACCOR assisted us with our choice of hotel & Emu Walk Apartments are certainly up to the **** rating. I would recommend a stay at Emu Walk Apartments.
"Very poor value"
31st August 2012, Lainnick, Somerset, UK
We chose these apartments on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews, that they represented the best value for money in Yulara. However, we believe these apartments are very poor value for money. The overall standard of the accommodation was very poor with worn furnishings, carpet and bed linen (dirty and with several holes in the blanket). Having said that the apartment (one bedroom) was quite spacious and reasonably well located.
"Uluru-Kata Tjuta - Amazing!!!"

After reading many reviews I was a little concerned about the accommodation, however I found our room to be nice and clean, everything we needed for our stay, the heating worked well and wasn't noisy, the only thing looking a bit aged was the bathroom. The room was very handy to the IGA supermarket around the corner and the selection and prices in IGA were very good. All the accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort is expensive, I know it is a long way from everywhere but I do think that it is over priced and that more people would travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta if accommodation prices were more reasonable. The camel sunset tour was a highlight and getting up and watching the sunrise at -4c was magic even though cold. Overall we loved our weekend in the red centre and would love to travel back and spend more time one day.
"Good but way too expensive"

Appartment was OK but heating wasn't functioning at all and no WiFi or broadband internet in the rooms. For the price ACCOR charges, these things should be included !!!

When prices do not include all taxes, the relevant taxes (VAT and/or city tax) will be stated in the following stages of the reservation process.
