Emu Walk Apartments a member of Grand Mercure Apartments: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Very poor value"

31st August 2012, Lainnick, Somerset, UK

We chose these apartments on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews, that they represented the best value for money in Yulara. However, we believe these apartments are very poor value for money. The overall standard of the accommodation was very poor with worn furnishings, carpet and bed linen (dirty and with several holes in the blanket). Having said that the apartment (one bedroom) was quite spacious and reasonably well located.

Emu Walk Apartments a member of Grand Mercure Apartments: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Uluru-Kata Tjuta - Amazing!!!"

27th July 2012, Cairns_AustraliaSam, Cairns, Australia

After reading many reviews I was a little concerned about the accommodation, however I found our room to be nice and clean, everything we needed for our stay, the heating worked well and wasn't noisy, the only thing looking a bit aged was the bathroom. The room was very handy to the IGA supermarket around the corner and the selection and prices in IGA were very good. All the accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort is expensive, I know it is a long way from everywhere but I do think that it is over priced and that more people would travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta if accommodation prices were more reasonable. The camel sunset tour was a highlight and getting up and watching the sunrise at -4c was magic even though cold. Overall we loved our weekend in the red centre and would love to travel back and spend more time one day.

Emu Walk Apartments a member of Grand Mercure Apartments: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Good but way too expensive"

Appartment was OK but heating wasn't functioning at all and no WiFi or broadband internet in the rooms. For the price ACCOR charges, these things should be included !!!
