"Nice modern hotel."

A modern well designed hotel in town yet not too far from the airport. Rooms are well appointed, new and modern. The service is friendly and efficient too. Breakfast buffet is nice. Recommended and will stay there again.
"Grand Mercure Jakarta Ok but "little things" need improvement"

Hotel was ok. Central location. Shopping malls and supermarkets nearby. Staff helpfulCleanliness questionable as I did not hear a vacuum cleaner during the 4+ days and small pieces of dust could be seen in the corners. Not enough clothes hangers in the closet and the closet was very small. Shower and bathroom good size but the toilet area kind of small.I was expecting a larger room with my Gold membership card.Is it necessary to sign a document to confirm a no smoking room when the guest requests a no smoking room? To have have a sign in the room stating the guest will be charged for cleaning services if anyone smokes in the room?

This is already my several returns to his hotel because is convenient for me to travel within Jakarta, Indonesia for business meeting, location may not be great, but room condition certainly give you relaxing and comfortable feeling, very comfortable bedding.

As I need to participate a night running activity at around Monas, I have decided to bring my family along and stay at Gran Mercure Jakarta Harmoni.It was only took 5 minutes from hotel to Monas and I was so glad that I can reached back the hotel earlier as well (also in 5 minutes).The room was good and clean.And the service was perfect.The wanton noodle at the restaurant was really delicious despite of slow response when waiting for the bill.Overall is excellent!Thanks Grand Mercure.
"Unusual for Indonesia"

I travel a fair amount in Indonesia and usually find that the quality of the service far exceeds the quality of the rooms themselves. This hotel was the opposite. The rooms and hotel in general were really lovely, clean, and comfortable, but the front desk staff were among the least helpful and least friendly people I have ever encountered in this country. (The concierge was great, though.)View management response »

"Luxury hotel and the best of spa"

The room was comfortable, its location was also quite strategic, close to upbeat spots in Jakarta. The spa was great with experienced masseuse. But I found the lost key policy ridiculous and the tv channel was not that complete....View management response »

"unresponsive check in handling"

The hotel is outstanding in cleanliness and has comfortable room though a little bit small for a five star hotel. Have a good sleep.But the service a little bit under average. I already book the hotel a week before i came. and it was friday 4pm when i arrived at the hotel and the room still not ready yet. We have to wait for almost 1.5 hours before we could get the room.Beware of traffic in front of the hotel as traffic jam almost happened every time of the day.View management response »

This new hotel feels good and comfortable. There is no hassle check-in or out, convenient location, as well as near to the city. It is almost perfect except for several things, such as the difference in hotel rate charged to local to overseas guests. Local pays a lot less compared to us and foreign exchange rate is unreasonable. No newspaper delivered to every room and daily nuisance of room service always knocking on the door asking if there is any laudry to clean everyday.View management response »

"There is no place beter than this"

When i entered the hotel it gave me a very good and safe feeling. The very friendly security man scanned all my 2 suitcases and gave the order to his collague to put in on à trolley. I gave my reservatIon number at the reception and instantly she asked for my creditcard wen i asked for she said to get 5.000.000 rp for deposity it Will be returned when i checked out and she did destroy the receipt when i checked out no problem at all. When entered the very Nice and fast elevator with the Nice mercure song That stays in my head hahah it brought me very quickly to my floor there are in Total 5 elevators so dont be afraid you dont have to wait very long. When entering my room 1523 i see the Nice marmer floor and not very long somebody allready brought my bagage to my room. The room is very big, the bed is very Nice and soft the four king koil pillows were perfect. The bathroom is very nice because you have a handshower and a showerrain. The refregirator with glas door was very nice because i could see my drink storage how much was leftt inside. The safe brandkast above the refregirator was quite big and even my iPad,pasport, money, and handphone and dont forget my big watch fitted very Nice. Everything day i got 2 bottels of fresh water for coffee and 2 bottels of water to Brussel my teeth. The Alo Nice thing was That every day around 09:30 they politely knockedmon on my door to ask if i had laundry the Same evening around 19:00 my laundry was allready clean and pressed and brought to my room. If you dont want to be disturbed just put the dont disturb sign on your door or push on the dont disturb knob at the door. The toilet was very new and good equipped with a Toto wasser That clean your behind. I also get every 2 small towels, 2 big towels and 1 towel for your feet. The wifi is very good and very fast Skype,watching streaming movies or playing games online were no problem at all. The flatscreen tv was ok size About 32 inch and they had alot of movie channels like HBO,CINESCREEN . The location of the hotel is very central it cost you around 15 minutes to get to ancol or 15 minutes to get to grand Indonesia mall and offcourse richt in front of the hotel you have the halte for the transjakarta That can bring you every where. If you need a taxi the staff are very fast and friendly to get you a white express taxi. Im very satisfied About the service and cleansless of this hotel, the staff are very friendly and allways smile at you they are not afraid to assistView management response »
