Decent hotel in a convenient location, authentic interior and friendly staff. Mosquitos in the room were a problem. Need to fix your plumbing asap - the drainage stench in the bathroom/toilet was horrid!

However, Normally hotel has 2 time scheduled for mosquito fumigation per month to minimize the number of mosquito, however, as Samui Island is very tropical and humid so it is very difficult to avoid it completely. Moreover, you can request a mosquito electric repellent from housekeeping staff if you are really allergy with mosquito. For the comment of drainage in the bathroom, all the department head has been informed to recheck all room and ensure that this will not occur to another guest. This hotel was perfect for us. The Mercure is a small Boutique Hotel with loads of character. From the lovely indoor pond at the entrance, to the warm and rich wood architecture, you will find an intimacy that is a welcome escape from the busy outside of Koh Samui. The rooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and a small balcony that overlooked a magnificent pool. Beware that there is a Back Packers Hostel across the road and for two nights we had loud music and screaming to the early hours of the next morning. Just lucky I guess. The noise was overlooked as the highlight of this hotel is the staff. Excellent Staff were throughout this little gem of a hotel when serving cocktails in the pool during Happy Hour, arranging a Birthday Cake for my Wife (Even when we found out that they had accidentally dropped the original cake and had to get an emergency cake),checking us in, serving us dinner and the girls cleaning our room who were always so friendly and professional. A special thank you to khun Tang on the Front Desk who always had a smile and was so helpful during our stay. Thank you Mercure as our stay was most relaxing.
Stay three nights in this hotel, first day I book a standard room, but quite humble. next I move to the junior suite, not too much to paid , but the room is much better, have bath tube, spacious room. You can see the floor plan. If you plan to stay in this hotel, book the suite room. Good location on the chewen beach

I asked for some set up to celebrate happy mother s day. Hotel have pre arrange the flower in the room for us. THANKS A LOT ! I also arrange transportation, good service from the male staff, i know he just join 1 month only. Reception are nice and express check in. I will stay again next time

I did ask the waiter, was my room include breakfast? She said it was not included. After we check out, at the airport, I found out that my room was supposed to include breakfast. We paid for two days breakfast and we did not eat breakfast for four days. I think the staffs were ignorance

Small lobby. Small room. Just stay short holiday it is okey.too strong cool a/c. No adjustment! Front desk speak good english. Very helpful staff. How ever this is not beach front hotel. Walk 5 mints to the beach front.

Even we are not the beach front hotel but only 5 minutes you can reach to the beach and In terms of the hotel location, Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana locates towards the south end of Chaweng beach and to walk in The walk to the centre of Chaweng where most of the night life takes about 15-20 mins and always just a few seconds away to get plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. - nice property, nice location, hotel has nice look and feel -breakfast could be better - ill trained staff-using mobile phone when talking to you. the girl at th reception who checked me in did not even speak English. i had to repeat everything 10 times so she would understand. - NO recognition of Accor Platinum status - nothing whatsoever. - Staff named OH at the breakfast was polite and friendly - the AC in the breakfast area was dripping water from the ceiling...and there were still tables under it!! - the chef at the live egg cooking station spoke no English...so no matter what you told her, your eggs were the way she wanted to cook - upon checkout, i was told they couldnt find my key in the room as i claimed. I was told I would be CHARGED for the plastic card. So cheap, i have stayed in dozens of hotels and i heard something like this for the first time!

For the hotel key card, as our key card is ordered from Germany, so cost per card is higher than normal key card, therefore, we have no other choice to notice guest upon check in to be aware not to lost it. For the water dripping from the ceiling due to the air condition condense as we turn on air condition in the restaurant and open the door, so it's hard to avoid it but definitely, we have rearranged the table to ensure that it will not drop on the guest while sitting. As an accor gold member, I was proposed an upgrade upon my arrival. 2 welcoming drinks, a special escort to the suite and a complete tour of the suite. Was also able to get a late checkout, and lots of help in regards with all tours around ko samui. Mercure at ko samui provides also a free parking. And prices in the restaurant are really reasonnable. Wifi is working very well, that is very rare in Thailand. Not to mention that, all my previous hotels did provide me wifi details, but i never managed to log in. Location is great. 20 minutes walk to nightlife area, and only 10 seconds walk to the main street where there are plenty of restaurants and small shops. I strongly recommend this hotel.
on the chaweng street, shops and massage everywhere, a lot of hotel choices, convenient choice, hotel cleaning and good service. Because I take the car lost exit paper, I called the front desk staff will be happy generation dealers inquiries, and submitted with the notification of my results and the price is affordable. only drawback is generally smaller room and swimming pool

My room was lovely,breakfast great but very noisy !Location was good. Service good but was extremely unhappy when accused of stealing old towels from my room which were not supplied will not stay here again for that reason !!

the mercure samui is an excellent hotel its rooms a clean and the staff a very friendly and helpful everything is walking distance from the beach to the bars and the shopping would stay here again loved it

We stayed in this motel in April 2014. Rooms were very clean, beds a little firm for my liking, but I like a very soft bed. They are a super king size which I loved. Restaurant service was a little slow getting meals out, other wise was good. Overall a great place to stay.

Air condition control is no good that can't control it as setup temperature precisely. Lights are too dark， two of them don't work when I checked in this room. Facilities examination don't implement befor guests check in.
