this is my first time stayed ini novotel banjarbaru. i think cleanliness, comfort, the rooms are all good but for the food should be improved. The location is very near airport but a little bit far to Banjarmasin city maybe around 30-45 menit by car depend of traffic

Novotel Banjarmasin, the room so clean, the bathroom so nice. It is near to airport and spend time half hour to city Banjarmasin, the price cheaper than the other hotels. For breakfast, the foods good.

Enjoyed my stay in Novotel recently. Didnt get the same poolside perks as the first time, and was situated bit far from the pool itself despite the upgrade charge (as supposedly the rooms facing the pool were full... but oddly nobody came in or out of those rooms throughout my stay). Nevertheless the reception team during my check-in and check-out were superb--friendly and warm. And the room service boys were cordial and professional.

Nice and Clean hotel, the room good and good service too. The hotel is very near to Airport, just 5-10 minutes by car, and the hotel provide Free Airport Shuttle service as well. This hotel is ok for business or leisure.

near airport and banjarbaru, the best choice to visit banjarbaru but quite far if visit banjarmasin. clean room, nice staff, new hotel and need to improve the garden. breakfast was good with variety of food

Despite the drizzling weather that weekend, my stay in Novotel Banjarmasin was particularly a memorable one. For one, the president was in town and even dropped by Novotel for lunch. But also, the kind GM Bapak Riganda extended his gracious welcome by upgrading my room to the poolside cottage. Splendidly captured in my pictures here. The breakfast spread was very good and the staff everywhere (literally wherever you bump into them, regardless of role or station) made me feel like a VIP---very polite and fluent in communicating to guests. Brilliantly coordinated and synchronized to the movement to each guests---like a spontaneous dance. The front desk staff were particularly delightful---making me feel i was in a upbeat urbane setting, when in fact i was kilometers away from the bigger cities. Everyone was on their ten toes, delighting guests and always with a ready smile. As for the room, i cannot put them in proper description without directing you to the photos. The photos can speak for themselves---superbly clean, very comfortable, tastefully designed, and perfect for a week-long holiday indeed. But sadly for me, my stay was only for a day or so. But definitely, i will plan another stay in Novotel Banjarmasin, and maybe next time, throw a room party as well.

Hotel is just 2 km from Banjarmasin airport with nice equipped room. it's perfect for stopover before going out to others town area in Kalimantan. Hotel have good swimming pool and friendly staff. internet is free with fair speed.

Stayed at the Novotel Banjarmasin October. My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The room was very comfortable and in good order. The food in this hotel was very pleasant and of a high standard. Staff were generally very pleasant and well trained.

The hotel itself is quite nice, but sadly not in line with their service level. 1. When i treat a VIP Guest for dinner in their restaurant, the bill was rejected to be charged to my room due to lack of deposit when i check in. Fyi i've already deposit 5 Mil and the F&B check itself is only around 500k. The deposit should be more then enough to cover the room bill for 3 nights and all the F&B taken. Apparently there's a mixup between the FO computer and restaurant computer. Can you imagine the embarressment i have to endure in front of my VIP Guest ? 2. I've already requested for early breakfast 1 day before, for all 3 rooms i booked, because of our early flight departure. I've also reconfirmed this order the night before the departure. Sadly one of the VIP Guest didnt receive the food, and when i try to contact the restaurant....no one answer the phone, when i try to contact the room service.....no one answer, and finally when i tried to contact the Front office......also no one answer. Either this hotel is entirely run by ghost or there's no employee whatsoever. The VIP guest leave the hotel early in the morning with nothing to eat, and again the embarrasement continue. 3. ALL the staff employee are busy treating the flight attendant and pilot of our flag carrier airplane with their utmost respect while they are neglecting the true customer that also paid the hotel with money. 4. Trully not worth a 4 star hotel.

very slow process in check in & check out procedures. 1 of our room ready at 3pm and the other one ready at 4pm. the room is not clean enough. we told the receptionist to have late check out around 3pm but around 2 o'clock our key card can't be used to enter to our room.

Hotel with good view, like resort in the town, near from Ariport Syamsudin Noor (I think only 1 km for entrance, services good, so sad but room any mosquito, breakfast good variety and one more is swimming pool...I LOVE I!!

Amazing pool and the lobby was spacious ,the food are ok but not recommend for western menu cause the portion was very little and the steak sandwich a bit hard (too expensive of what it is). Very close to the airport and they offer transport from hotel to the airport. Not happy with the housekeeping as they forgot to clean the coffee mug/cup in day 2 also the cleaning time.
