"Ibis styles Paris Pigalle Hotel"
23rd January 2013, kahcos, Mumbai (Bombay), India
a good small hotel. Clean and tidy in a fairly good location for getting around Paris and enough restaurants in the Area for going out. The Metro is not far away from the hotel. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They also spoke English and were able to give accurate information for getting around the area.

"Good hotel in Paris"
11th December 2012, Xbito, Lima, Peru
The location is not that good, for me it was great because of having a metro 2 and 12 station nearby, I could go to the conference location really fast and easy. Also if you enjoy nightlife it may be a good place to stay. Other than that I would try to search another Ibis closer to the tourist attractions and maybe with more connections to other metro lines. The room quality was great, and it was worth every euro I payed. They offer power adaptors too for those weird french power connectors which is great. On the last day they allowed me to store my bags there until later and called a taxi for me to get me to the airport.

"Why avoiding this hotel"
1st November 2012, 60peppe60, Gothenburg, Sweden
First of all we must say that when we came to the hotel we got a room, and we immediately went back to the reception, since that one was so small that we could barely turn around the bed, no space for the luggage, 20 cm of hanging place for dresses. The water tapa tt eh basin was leaking, the airconditioning not working, so we got a new room with some more stowage place and working stuff.During our stay we experienced several issues :1- Cleaning of bathroom: simply not performed. There have been hairs laying on the floor and hanging on the bathtub handrail for 4 days, a clear sign that nobody was really cleaning nor washing the floor and the sanitary facilities.2- Air conditioning works in a quite strange manner: it is remotely controlled with no possibility of adjusting parameters from the room, but the unit reacts “spontaneously” to opening and closing of the window even when the whole system is off.3- Warm water: it takes up to 4-5 minutes, and liters of water just wasted down the sewer, to have hot water coming from taps.4- The room is really very small, and the space is further limited by a useless “artistic” seat.5- The fabric tester and curtain hanging from the ceiling over the bed and the extensive use of moquette, creates an ideal environment for deposit of dust and allergenic substances, especially considering that vacuum cleaning of carpets is an unknown practice among the room staff.6- The overall housekeeping is disastrous, with the bed just roughly set if not completely ignored and an unpredictable replacing/recycling of towels7- Many breakfast plates are dented.8- Personnel preparation and courtesy simply do not exist: un-professional behaviour, tendency to minimize when put in front of undone things, if not to accuse the guest of cheating them.9- Heavy interference between the hotel supplies delivery and the guests’ breakfast, with trolleys and cartons of goods, and people moving them, going across the breakfast area between 7 and 8 o’clock in the morning: this is not only noisy and disrespectful of hygiene and guests’ comfort, but it also hinders the access to the (small) food & beverage buffet.10- Front-office staff hardly reply to the guests’ greeting – they never say hallo first (not to mention the “fantasy” in their dressing).

Convenient location as it is close to Metro (Pigalle station). But if you have heavy luggage, traveling by Metro can be a problem as there is no elevator or escalator. The room is clean and neat, look newly renovated. Most staff are friendly but some look quite alert, perhaps due to the close proximity to Moulin Rouge and similar shops. Breakfast place is very small and not much choice available. Bad design in shower room as water is not easy to drain. Overall, room and location are great.
"Very clean and comfortable bed"
10th October 2012, Darwin, Australia
My room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The room was small along with the shower receptacle. No fridge or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. By Paris standards I am told to expect small rooms when booking accom in Paris. Very centrally located, walk to moulin rouge, metro, buses and shops. Be careful in this area at night.
"Very pleasant stay"

The breakfast that was served were very good and inviting. The staff are friendly. Although the hotel is quite small, ideal for small group. The room we stayed in was very nice and the facilities are good.

Good location, a bit difficult to find as the street names aren't clear in the Place Pigalle. Nice staff. Clean and attractive rooms. Enjoyed our stay in Paris, and nice that is was so close to the Metro.

"Family stay in Paris"
16th July 2012, Merseyside, UK
Reserved two family rooms, with our son and family visiting from New Zealand, looking forward to spending time together. Allocated one room on the first floor and the other on the sixth floor. Not what we had hoped for. The recent renovations to the hotel were apparent and appeared successful. However staffing at breakfast on Sunday was abysmal. Breakfast was due to finish at 11.00a.m. At 9.15 a.m. we were told abruptly that the cheese and ham were finished. Our son, wife and three young daughters, came down, waited about 30 mins for a table to sit his family at. He never did get a chair for himself, nor, for that matter, a clean plate for himself. He approached the female attendant to request the table be cleared, which was done, but no clean plates or cutlery were brought, but were taken to other tables whereupon the occupants at those tables pointed out that my son's table was first. She then went as though to take the clean items back to the kitchen! The manager on duty that morning was doing as best he could, manning the desk and helping with service. Monday morning there was a male attendant on duty for breakfast, service was fine.

Management responseDear Guest,Thank you for your comment, I am satisfied to know that our hotel pleased you. When we have families, we try to put them in the same floor. But sometimes, it is difficult to allocate any rooms with the particular requests. When the hotel is complete, it is necessary difficult to put everybody in the breakfast room. We re-drop to manage the problem. We offer the breakfast buffet from 6:00 am till 11:00 am the weekend.Best RegardsNicolas NAZZARIDirecteur

"Better than average"
15th July 2012, Brisbane, Australia
The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating but the rooms really are cramped for space. The breakfast is very good value and on a whole the hotel is good value for money if you can put up with the small rooms.

Room is good but service is not in time, since we waiting breakfast a little while due to full room occupancy. Quiet noisy due to neighbour club in the evening.
