We spent three nights in the Adagio Tours. The staff is not always in the reception, but when they are not there, everything still works well. The hotel is well located. We rent a car and it was possible to park it at the street. There is a Carrefour supermaket nearby (1,6km) and we cooked our dinner without problem.
Apartment should have fully equiped kitchen. So, tea cups is probably not necessary crockery. Personel said that there is no cups and glasses and proposed me to drink coffee and tea from bowls. Toilet paper is available only on working days from 8:00 to 4 p.m. so we propose to build spare stock on Friday. Loire castles are beatiful and we quick forgotten about cups and paper.
I had a small studio with view to the railway tracks-perfectly adequate for one person. Both room and bathroom looked recently refurbished and the bed was comfortable although I would have preferred a duvet to the continental bedding provided. The double glazing did not block out the noise from the trains. There was aircon in my room. I missed a shelf in the bathroom or somewhere to place my toilet bag. Shower curtain, not my favourite and the water pressure in the shower was quite low. No chance of a quick shower if you are a lady with long hair. Even though this is a budget option, there should have been a hair dryer. Kitchen had no cups, only bowls for the French café au lait. A bit strange in a city hosting so many foreigners. Electric kettle, coffee maker and ceramic hob for making light meals. Indoor parking was full when I arrived, so if you plan to use this I suggest you notify the hotel in your booking request. Street parking is hard to find. Conveniently located a 10-15 minutes walk to the city center and very close to the station. There were plenty of eateries in the street behind the station including a wonderful Japanese called Parfum Culture. Did not locate any supermarket or convenience store nearby.
