very nice service and very good atmosphere. close to the holland casino and bakelantsquare entertainment area. staff is great. one of the most relaxing hotels in the world. When I arrived, the staff member already prepared my key !View management response »

Good location, good parking, good welcome, excellent breakfast. Serviceable looking room. Had a kettle but no ordinary tea.All well until we got into bed. The bed was as if in a sound box. Loud vibrations were coming from (we think) the central AC unit outside on the roof. We were offered a change of room around midnight. (Customer service was good). Eventually around 2am relative quiet came we were left only with the sound of the split AC in the room.View management response »

I spent one night in the hotel. When I arrived it was 17C in the room. I turned on heating and set it to the max. After check in I went out for a dinner. When I returned it warmed up to 19C. Since I had an early flight next morning I got up at 6 am and the temperature was again 17C in the room even though the heating was on the max. The radiator was completly cold. I know it is not healthy to sleep in a warm room but let me decide that for 73 EURO. That is also Ok that the hotel don't heat all the rooms when there is not too many visitor. BUT they should preheat at least those ones where they are expecting a guest. The hotel knew that I arrive since even my room nr was printed on the booking paper which was already printed when I arrived.View management response »

"Slow service for Breakfast"

The hotel is ok and even has a free parking which we appreciated.We had to leave the hotel at 8 in the morning and was told that breakfast starts at 7.30 so I booked 4 breakfasts, I was disappointed with the fact that the lady who was preparing breakfast did not manage to open on time and the cooked breakfast came out after 7.45 which meant that we did not have chance to avail our selves with was on offer as we had a plane to catch and only the continental breakfast and some cereals were available at 7.30.We paid the full rate of 62 euros for 4 breakfasts.There was even another table who left before us and complained that the breakfast should have been available from 7.30
"Expanse and noise"

The price is expansive and offer few things. For exemple there is no frigobar in the room and there is no food to buy at reception.Inside the rooms exist door to conect to another room, then if someone in the other room is talking or listening music or watching TV you will listen all. That the reason this is noise room. The Mercure Hotel Eindhoven should remove those door and put the wall.
"Average budget room"

Reasonable value for money but room was quite small and bathroom not the quality we expect from the Mercure brand. We stayed at Ibis Calais the previous week and that room was much better, despite the Ibis brand being the more 'budget' option from Accor hotels! Otherwise stay was OK.

The hotel was very good. It was in a good quiet location. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The hotel is situated near to an excellent supermarket.
