Our stay was very pleasant, although the room was probably a bit tired. The check in was superb. One staff member at breakfast was very cold but the girls were great. No air conditioning so it was very hot.

Excellent location near the town centre. Decent sized rooms, though could do with some renovation. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Only food we had was buffet style breakfast, not the best, bread not fresh & a bit stale, potato scones were rock hard, beans were cold, poor black pudding. Overall, not up to expectations for the prices they charge. Best point is the location, worst point is the food.

They went on there honey moon there so thought it would be special for them to go they they enjoyed there stay they said they would go back again mey all its standards they said they also enjoyed the meal and they would go back

We have been going to this hotel for 40 years i chose this hotel as it was a special birthday for my husband. This must have been the worst stay yet the heating was broken then the lifts were broken on going to the reception to ask for a lower floor due to both facts I was met with sorry we have no upgrades to offer you why do people always think you are looking for a free upgrade surely with all the custome we have given them throughout the years must speak for its self we only wanted a warm room on a lower floor. My have to rethink if we will be returning .....l.
