Mercure Bristol North the Grange Hotel: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Relaxing stay with extremely welcoming staff"

My wife and young daughter spent 3 nights at the Mercure Grange Hotel. It was a very pleasant experience. We were looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation with easy access to some daily sight seeing (Bath, Bristol. Stonehenge). We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was very friendly and we were treated as welcome guests in a beuatiful country house. The Mercure franchise has done a great job not making this feel like a sterile chain property.

Mercure Bristol North the Grange Hotel: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Lovely hotel"

12th July 2012, Cornwall

Stayed here for one night over the weekend. Lovely location just right close to Bristol but far enough that was nice and quite. Think that we picked the wrong weekend as was a big wedding on and our room was right at the top of the hotel would be no good for someone who had trouble walking. That said was nothing to complain about clean tidy and everything you needed but was tired and very hot, this is something that they must be aware of as was a big fan in the wardrobe.Maybe if we went when it was quieter would be better the wedding had a disco going until late and guest banging around but we were very tired so this didn't really bother us.Breakfast was very good and staff very helpful and friendly plenty of choice and food.Would recommend for its charm and setting and will definitely try it again, good value for money. Would say that if you have mobility issues to check with the hotel first.
