I have stayed in this and many other Accor hotels in many countries and I am a gold card member. At this hotel I had to ask for my welcome drink and was offered a coffee or juice - who wants a welcome coffee or juice in 36deg heat, when other hotels offer beer, wine or a cocktail? On the first night the room temp was 29deg. I asked for another room as the aircon was obviously broken, but apparently the hotel was fully booked - yeah right. They offered to fix the aircon and when I returned that night it had been fixed (and left me a complimentary bottle of wine) - unfortunately on my 3rd and last night it was broken again.
The rooms are very nicely appointed. Beds are large and comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and well equipped with a good size bath and spacious shower area. In fact the whole look of the hotel is very nice and i would say it is by far the best hotel in Anshan and i have stayed in a few. My only gripe was that the air conditioning was not working. The in room temperature control did nothing and this was true of the two rooms they put us into. In the end we were given an evaporative cooler. The room was too hot at night and that lead to very poor sleep. If the airconditioning was working i would have given the hotel a 5 for serivice and sleep quality.
