Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good all round hotel"

14th January 2013, Traralgon

We stay here periodically to pick people up at the airport from early morning flights. It's a good room with a balcony and we have always enjoyed good food at dinner & breakfast. Freshly cooked breakfast is somewhat of a treat.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Spring into Caroline Springs"

23rd October 2012

Although it is a little out of town it is ideal for me when conducting business in Melbourne as most of my customers are on that side of town and there is easy access to the airport. The hotel is in the Westwaters entertainment complex and it has everything you need including a shopping centre across the road and a room full of pokies if you are in the mood to loose money. :) The rooms are large and have all the mod cons.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Mercure Caroline Springs"

A very welcoming "new" hotel with excellent facilities and great value for money. Excellent restaurant, food and bars. Rooms are almost brand new, bathrooms immaculate. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 4.0 out of 5 stars "a shame"

7th June 2012, Danyelg, Melbourne, Australia

Everything would have been perfect had it not been that we did not sleep very well as there was some problem with the air cond. otherwise the venue was excellent the meal was excellent too breakfast was disappointing not the food but the service was . we ordered coffee and it came after the meal. she forgot to bring cutttlery even after asking for it we had to go and get it ourselves not a big deal but our hot breakfast got cold while we were waiting. We were told that they since contacted Mitsubishi to look at air cond.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good for business travel"

21st April 2012, Riconleave, Perth, Australia

Clean rooms (decor a bit sterile); good service; location good if business is in the western suburbs; only 30 minutes to airport so can avoid most of traffic. Handy on-site cafe and restaurant for eat-in dining, and shopping centre just over the road.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Very thoughtful"

I was incapacitated as I had surgery on my feet that day. The staff went out of their way to help me at all times. This was very much appreciated.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Worth the punt"

29th March 2012, Ballarat

Took a punt on a hotel we'd never seen or heard of.Polite staff at check in (with really helpful confirmation call the day before).Room was very clean, great size bed and comfortable. We upgraded to a room with balcony view over the lake - pigeon droppings and cold weather made that an unattractive option. Couldn't see the lake from inside the room.Bathroom was above adequate. the shower head had pleanty of water pressure. very much up to standard for the price we paid.Parking was at no extra cost and 'on site' undercover. No 'in house' movies faciltity to choose from... (and finding the closest Hoyts turned out to be pretty confusing - a couple of staff gave us vague directions but we still couldn't find it until we returned the next day - turned out you practically had to be a local to know where it was)...Breakfast - we originally pre booked but then were given the option at check in to go with the menu on offer in the cafe/breakfast area or stick with the pre-booked chosen set food option. Other accor hotels we've stayed at offer a buffet choice(which is way better). Not sure whether our accor card would have made us eligible for discount on the breakfast - either way we weren't asked so maybe not.Would we stay here again - yes definitely. The restaurant/bistro had middle range prices but the food was way better than expected. I would go as far as to say it was GREAT. The waitress knew the specials and could tell us a bit about each also. Good job Ivonna. The dessert was top notch.Overall - a good place to stay. Have recommended it to a couple of friends already.

Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs (Prior Grand Mercure): 5.0 out of 5 stars "MATTHEW BAILEY"

10th March 2012, porthedland

The accommodation is new and modern. the staff were very helpful and competent with fulfilling all my needs . there is a good restaurant and bar / poker machines. Across the road from a shopping center where you can catch public transport so close to all you need. A nice view off the large veranda off the bar looking out over a beautiful water way. I wouldn't hesitate staying at Caroline Springs again.
