ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good Location for Eurostar"

14th February 2013, 47bw101, Cardiff, United Kingdom

Situated in what is not the best areas of Paris, this hotel, nonetheless, is very convenient for passengers arriving at the Gare du Nord as it is directly opposite the station. The hotel itself offers compact but comfortable rooms for a very reasonable price which includes a cold buffet breakfast served in a rather small dining room. All the staff were welcoming and helpful and the hotel offers a free left luggage room for customers.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "A nice central hotel - very nice and welcoming people"

5th February 2013, Jörg-Achim F, Rastatt

My first room 406 was very small, even for one person but Jean, the manager did me a great favour and passed me room 604, very nice room, above the roofs of Paris with a view on Gare du Nord. Very central placed, very nice to go to the fair Villepinte by train. Due to the cold weather the bathroom was a bit cold, no heater inside and the shower would not fit for people which are not as slim as me. Breakfast room is much tooo small, esp. during fair time, but breakfast is Ibis styles good standard. All in all I would book it again!

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Top notch location"

15th January 2013, Topsi7, Glasgow, United Kingdom

For handiness this hotel is fantastic-train direct from Charles de Gaul to Gare du Nord and walk across the road! Fantastic for bus train and metro, and yet surprisingly quiet for being so close to the station and our room was facing there!Breakfast was included and was ample with enough variety to please a picky 15 year old.Cafe's were close by, reasonably priced and service was good.Staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful especially the little lady who did the breakfasts- she was always cheery.Would recommend this hotel as great value and for the location. Hope to go back sometime!Lyn Fulton. -a Scot who now lives in Australia

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Come out of the train and sleep"

12th December 2012, Canillo

Coming on a late train from Germany to Paris, I was in my room within minutes from coming out of the train. Lucky I had in mind the location of the train because there was no indication in the station. The desk clerk was efficient and the room decoration and all was very neat. Next morning the breakfast was also great.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good Location. Good Value"

25th November 2012, Sao Paulo, Brazil

3 nights at Ibis Styles, was a good deal. Breakfast included and good location. Was coming from other city and train stopped at Gare du Nord. 5 minutes walking distance. only small problem, was a left condom in the floor on my 1st night Everything else was fine.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice hotel"

19th November 2012, espoo

Nicely located hotel opposite of the Gare du Nord. Easy to travel around the city with Metro and RER. I also visited Lille and took the TGV there and it was very practical. Finally I rented a car from the station and drove to a meeting and back to airport.I recommend this hotel unless you fear that there are a lot of people hanging around the place 24 hours a day.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "very good"

2nd October 2012

We stayed there for two nights. Despite the price was higher then the overall eurepe standarts because of intense number of tourists in Paris, we're generally satisfied from the hotel quality. We had no problems. My just recommendation is to incrase the choices in yhe brakfast.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Clean & convenient"

23rd September 2012, YMLSydney, Sydney, Australia

Stayed here for one night because we were traveling into and out of Paris from Gare du Nord and thus we avoided the awkward commute with luggage. We just came out of the station, crossed the road and checked right in. As a base for one night it was perfectly adequate. The room was clean enough, the staff obliging and the breakfast bar was really quite good. Transport to all attractions easy and quick from here.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 2.0 out of 5 stars "Simple Hotel next to Train Station"

29th August 2012, 2_Tired_Traveller, Shanghai, China

This hotel is very basic. Breakfast and WiFi are included but the breakfast is simple with little choice and I could not access the 8 different WiFi access points reliably. When I could actually connect, the speed was very slow. The hotel actually gave me the the access point for another hotel that is close by. Rooms are basic, but clean and fine for a one night stay. This is next to the Gare du Nord train station, which is convenient for a one night stay to catch a train, but the area is extremely unsafe and there are criminals everywhere. So watch our and pay attention all the time. The service was friendly and helpful.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Convenion, Clean, Not A Nice Area"

12th July 2012, Pasadena, California, USA

The hotel is in front of Gre Du Nord station.which is very convenion if you are from the airport. It is just remodeling and everything is neat and clean. Gre Du Nord is not a nice area, but it is quite save .. There are lots of black and middleesat people standing or talking on the streets. It is much differnt from Pasadena CalifornisBen

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good value, good position for Gare du Nord and Eurostar."

10th July 2012, Brisbane, Australia

My husband and I recently had a night at the Ibis Styles Hotel Paris Gare du Nord as we were travelling next day to England via the Eurostar. We were greeted very warmly, our room was more than adequate, very comfy and quiet and good value. The continental breakfast was excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to use the Gare du Nord railway station.Toni Peggram - Australia

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great location, comfortable bed, but not for long stays"

9th June 2012, 0ccasionalTraveller9, London, United Kingdom

Location perfect for Eurostar travellers just opposite Gare du Nord. Easy access to rest of Paris as well. Beds very comfortable and slept very well. This hotel is reaching the end of a refurbishment period so everything is currently new. The refurbishment looks a bit on the cheap side so not sure how long the rooms will stay nice. Inclusive wifi and breakfast is handy. Typical French breakfast included croissant, baguette, pan au chocolat, orange juice, yoghurt, cheese, hot drinks. Bathrooms just have a shower not a bath, with very slippery floors and the water leaks everywhere. The sink was not well designed, not much space for spreading out and got dirty very easily. The hotel is perfect for a one night stay onward to Eurostar but not for a long term stay. The lift is tiny, very difficult to fit a buggy and second child in there, it would only fit a Mclaren buggy. My husband had to carry the bags up the stairs as there was no room for them in the lift. Staff very friendly and helpful though, happy to help out with French words if you need translation.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great stay, helpful at reception"

1st June 2012, Sydney, Australia

Stayed 4 nights in triple room, sofa bed was very comfortable, newly renovated bathroom, windows opened to look down on main street, air conditioner worked well, double glazing windows, staff excptionally helpful, nothing any trouble, breakfast served in room at requested times, lift a little small for three and luggage, no fridge to keep drinks cold, but great location to get everywhere, the bus station next to train station, plenty of maps given out, not speaking french was not a problem. Felt safe and secure once inside hotel. Great stay.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent location with friendly service"

24th May 2012, Adelaide

The hotel is in an ideal location for travel and very accessible to Gare du Nord. Even though the hotel was being renovated the service was still great. The only problem was the slow lift ... very slow and small. The service was also very friendly and the guys on reception always helpful.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "under renovation"

18th May 2012, apichart-THAILAND, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand

Hotel is very near railway station, so it very comfortable to transport to other place. But the hotel is under renovate. If hotel finish renovation, it will be a very good choice to stay in Paris.

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 5.0 out of 5 stars "April/May in Paris"

5th May 2012, Londonresident_12, London, United Kingdom

Very convenient for Eurostar. Very friendly and helpful reception (and other) staff. Part of stay was in a family room with daughter and granddaughter - sofa/bed easily pulled out and very comfy

ibis Styles Paris gare du Nord TGV (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Top location"

29th April 2012, PicklesNewcastle, Newcastle

Great location, just walk out of Gare du Nord station and you are at the Hotel. Lift to all floors, great service at front desk. Rooms are small however have everything you need for a one night to 2 night stay. I stayed at the Hotel on 2 occassions for overnight stays in April. Plenty of options for eating close by including short walk to 2 supermarkets and Post office across the road. When catching the train a perfect choice as it is so easy with the closeness of the Hotel to entyr of railway station. Hotel is currently under renovation for the breakfast room so breakfast served in room.Should be completed by June 2012. Both rooms I stayed in on level 5 were all recently renovated to a high standard.
