"May Long Weekend"
13th May 2012, STC727, Brisbane, Australia
An excellent hotel with large well appointed executive rooms that is a short walk from the centre of Auckland. An ideal hotel for the traveller who is looking to combine a city stay and a base with easy access to the beautiful country side that surrounds Auckland.

As a staff member of Accor NZ, it is always nice staying at the other hotels. The people at the front desk were most helpful with giving my mum and myself directions to get to the Heston Blumenthaln show at the Aotea Centre.Breakfast was very good and a wonderful selection,Thanks, for a very enjoyable stay.
"Stay at the Pullman Auckland"
8th May 2012, flowers244, Tauranga, New Zealand
Was really looking forward to a two day break in Auckland and our stay at the Pullman. Had booked a month earlier so produced our printout to the check in lady whom allocated us a room. Had booked a superior room and one king bed. made our way to the room with assistance from concierge. Room was behind the lifts and had only a queen bed.I made my way back to check in and spoke to the same lady. She called for assistance from another staff member and they finally allocated us I presume a superior room with a king bed.Tv remote would only work if close by Tv but they had maintenance come and attend to that. Overall enjoyable stay but tempered by run around at check in. Great guys on the concierge desk.

Our experience at the Pullman Auckland exceeded our expectation. Our suite was of a very high quality.Location is handy to central shopping area without attracting foot and road traffic noise. Room was quiet and comfortable.Staff were friendly and efficient.Meal at in-house restaurant was of a high quality.Conference facilities were very good.
"Wake up!"
2nd May 2012, Rotorua, New Zealand
Great apartment with excellent bathrooms. Tried to track down an alarm calls which spoke in broken English and told us that it was time to get up at half hourly intervals from 11pm through until 12.30 when the concierge came up and tried to find out the problem only to realise that it was coming through from the neighbouring room! Thank good ness our neighbours came home then so we were excused from any further interruptions. The walls between the rooms at the head of the bed are obviously quite thin...
"Expected Better"
1st May 2012, Radz_12, Sydney, Australia
We finished up our 2 week NZ North Island holiday at the Pullman in Auckland so I was really looking forward to wind down and relax before returning home. No sooner had i drove in there was someone opening the car door and waiting to unload the bags out of the car. Very impressive. Check in was a bit nervous as my room wasn't allocated for the 3 nights - bit worrying. I was extremely dissappointed with the room as it was much smaller, darker and noisier than I expected from a Pullman standard. The public areas look so new and fantastic but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Looks like it needs to be refurbed and updated. View was not to write home or wow about. Tried to get a room change only to be told that they were fully booked. Hey I thought being a member gave me some privilege, clearly not. Tried to enjoy the last leg of the trip was I couldn't get over my dissappointment of the hotel. It was not as close to the city centre/attractions as I imagined due to the hotel being on a fairly steep hill. Coming and going was not as easy due to the location and distant so felt a little insecure going out night time. I wouldn't be staying in another Pullman Hotel in a hurry. To end on a positive note the room was clean, staff were friendly, nice pool and spa.
"Pullman Hotel (overnight stay)"
26th April 2012, MuzKatikati, Tauranga
Room and bathroom were clean. Room had ample space, bed was good but bathroom a bit cramped. Meals were excellent at the restaurant. Location was really good - close to the city centre (easy walking distance) and still quiet.
"Old Auckland Hyatt now Pullman"
23rd April 2012, SydneyWazz, Sydney
Rooms are dated. Was woken at around 0230 by what sounded like furniture being dragged over hard floors either above, below or adjacent to my room - no idea what or where. This went on for what seemed like an hour or more then some night owls came home to their rooms at around 3 or 3.30am and the hopeless sound proofing meant I was woken again by their loud voices reverberating in the corridoors......
"Very friendly staff..Made to fill at home"
19th April 2012, cleocat007, Waitakere City, New Zealand
Our hotel stay was a nice treat for my wife and myself..Staff were very friendly and room was spotless. We had.We had our daughter and her husband come and visit visit us as it was our daughters birthday so we all had dinner in the cafe restaurant. All very nice. The only thing was our daughters husband was violently sick after after he got back to their hotel nearer Queen street. Seafood chowder ? I guess we will never know, no one else in our group had that starter. Apart from that glitch the hotel was a joy to stay in..

"The Pullman - Well located"
18th April 2012, Landlord11, Wellington, New Zealand
This hotel is very well located. While being on the outskirts of the CBD, it is still close enough to walk comfortably to Queen St. It is easy to get to and provides excellent valet parking. Service was spot-on, rooms were well presented, food was excellent and the main foyer spacious and uncluttered.

"The Pullman Auckland"
5th April 2012, Matam
What a great place to stay service and meals were excellent and so convient to Queen Street, Sky City and the Viaduct complex I would certainly stay again
"Good experience overall"
5th April 2012, Auckland Central, New Zealand
It was our first stay there since it moved from being the Hyatt to the Pullman. It was good, the staff didn't seem as relaxed as they had been in the past. Lyn had a massage which wasn't as good as in the past. The hotel is a very good one and it's important that the ambiance is relaxed and friendly. I know that they were busy. Just keep up the quality approach under the new regime.
"Great Hotel"
4th April 2012, Sheila158, Gold Coast, Australia
We stayed in a one bedroom residence apartment and had a great stay. Had a good size fully appointed kitchen including dishwasher. The bathrooms were big with bath and shower. So much nicer than a hotel room and well worth the little extra. Had great meals in the restaurant. Reaaly enjoyed our stay.
"Value for Money"
3rd April 2012, zaltiva, malvern,victoria
A first class hotel in all respects from the moment you arrive, the front door staff greet you at your car, are quick, attentive and efficient and luggage on a trolley at reception in seconds, reception is equally efficient and check in a breeze. Luggage arrives minutes after you reach your room and the lifts are unbelievably quick. I was on the 10th floor and never waited more than 20 seconds over three days for an elevator. Restaurant, bars are good value for money, location is great, close to CBD, Parnell Rd restaurants & Motorways without the noise One tip: If driving, plenty of off street overnight parking so no need to pay valet or park fees. A lot of Auckland hotels could learn a lot if their Manager stayed here one night. Rooms are great value, big bathrooms, plenty of room, plenty of TV cable choices, quiet, clean. Cannot recommend highly enough, my new Auckland hotel of choice. Great value for money
"Business trip"
30th March 2012, Hamilton
This hotel was ideal for our purposes as business meeting was straight across the road. Room was clean with neutral decor, private balcony, economic on space but adequate for our needs. Wi-fi connection was too weak in the room so sat in the lobby to take care of remote business. Dinner was very good and all the staff very pleasant.
"enjoyed the stay"
27th March 2012, Napier, New Zealand
great apart from no air conditioning in rooms-not great on hot Auckland nights.Staff helpful-breakfast great and lovely platter for lunch!
"Pullman - Our Experience"
23rd March 2012, Wellington, New Zealand
Very friendly staff; nice pool and spa facilities; food selection in restaurant a little limited, but in room dining okay; cleaning of rooms could do with a little more attention to detail as some areas weren't as clean as others.
"Degas to Dali"
22nd March 2012, Rotorua, New Zealand
Planning a trip to the Degas to Dali exhibition in Auckland? This is a great location to be based at. Very central too to try the best Vietnamese restaurant, Cafe Hanoi. Local to new bar, Everybodys in Imperial Lane off Fort St. Not so impressed with the room we were given as it overlooked a pretty grungy roof on top of the entrance. Definitely should use the valet parking as it is not worth the hassle trying to save a few bucks negotiating the narrow alleys and small parking spaces in the neighbouring parking building.
"Enjoyable Once Again"
20th March 2012, Puket135, Bay of Islands
Stayed here overnight. Only one downfall was a rubber sheet on the bed. It was so uncomfortable. Didn't think that was necessary. Ate at the restaurant & the food was fabulous both for breakfast & dinner. All the front staff were great. They came straight to the car & helped unload all our gear. They even went back & got some things that we wanted from the car.
"Great value, service,facilities and location"

"Evaluation March 2012"
15th March 2012, Moruya NSW
I was very impressed with our room but disappointed with the few lights that did not work and the Spackle falling out of the tiles around the toilet. On one night we had NO service at the restaurant; after waiting for over half an hour we were shown to our seats, provided with a glass of water and that was all for nearly 25 minutes ... after which we left. It was late and we were no longer in the mood for such a late meal. The restaurant had been very busy and we were asked to wait for 15 minutes which was OK ... the Manager was going to collect us from the Bar but we were kept waiting well after the crowd had left and several customers had walked in and seated.
