"Modern brand on old dump"
30th June 2012, London, United Kingdom
I was really disappointed with this hotel. I booked via accor.com, where the hotel's brand 'all seasons' was presented as young, fresh, vibrant, new, contemporary. We pitched up and could first not find the hotel because the exterior was not what we would have looked out for: An old, tatty hotel with flickering neon signs ('Astoria') and only a tiny 'all seasons' sign at the entrance door.Inside it's what you would expect from an old, traditional, past-its-best hotel in Italy: all old marble and dated seats and sofas. The rooms we had were tiny, the bathrooms a joke and the storage options rather poor. The only reflection of the new brand was a wall (badly) painted in the brand colour. The a/c was either super-loud or ineffective, the elevator from two centuries ago.Breakfast was alright, and the staff were friendly and welcoming - no faults there. However, Accor truly mis-sold the hotel and its new brand. At the very least, they should have indicated that it is in the process of fully re-branding and re-furnishing this hotel (if indeed that is the plan) to manage expectations. I'm sorry, but we are not likely to give the brand another chance, and are a bit distrustful of Accor as a whole. Peter
"Disappointing"
4th June 2012, 156DavidK, Sevenoaks, United Kingdom
Our room was a great disappointment. It was clean but looked tired, with an unpleasant mix of colours, and was in need of redecorating. The air conditioning was effective but noisy, and left a trickle of water down the wall. The bathroom, despite having some new-looking fittings looked old fashioned, with ugly wall and floor tiles, stained paintwork, and smelt musty. Both the room itself and the bathroom were in need of renovating and updating - the room picture on the Accor website through which we booked, whilst labelled as not being contractually binding, was completely misleading regarding the nature of the room. The "All Seasons" brand section of the website also gave a totally misleading impression of what to expect from this hotel (interestingly, it gives pictures of other hotels, but not this one). The location was central, but with a tram stop right outside we felt it necessary to keep the window and metal shutters closed. The only upsides were the cleanliness and that the staff were all pleasant and helpful. Our stay was not expensive, but did not feel good value, and was not of the standard we expect from the Accor group.
"Correcto"

Correct value for money. There was something behind the door like a water pump or something that was making noise. This was a problem only of my room.
"Excellent Receptionist"
22nd February 2012, Dublin, Ireland
Enjoyed our brief overnight stay. The receptionist was very helpful and had good english. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and including hot scrambled eggs. The bathrooms were immaculate. I would definitely stay there again when in Turin as it was very central.
"A bit decieving"
24th January 2012, London, United Kingdom
It would have got a higher rating but for a couple of things. One being that the receptionist was not very pleasant and didn't want to be that helpful. The other point being that the car parking which was advertised for the room booked not there. The parking was at another location owned by another company and had to be paid for seperately from the room rate. Totally decieved regarding this.Would recommend to a friend but with a big BEWARE regarding car park
"Logistic optimum"
12th January 2012, Moscow, Russia
The location is perfectly close to the central train staition, main shopping avenues and city centre, the bus to the airport stop is in 5 min afoot from the hotel so it takes you less than an hour to reach it and finally the staff at the reception and also cleaning ladies are really nice & helpful so I recommend this hotel if you want a budget & logistic optimum place to stay in Turin. Regards, A
"Basic Hotel with good breakfast"
11th January 2012
Stayed here for one night - basic with all essential facilities and good breakfast. Old building with interesting modernised central iron lift. Very reasonable price, pleasant friendly staff and just 10 mins good walk to the centre of Turin. We drove but it is very close to the railway station. Their parking garage was full and the recommended local private one was run by a very surly chap but was convenient. Only problem is that the name of the hotel is not clear and it is still known as the Astoria.
"Very well placed"
11th January 2012, Lausanne, Switzerland
The old building is very well placed inside Torino, I recommend this hotel for whoever want to stay in the city for some days. The breakfast was OK, there is an old stylish elevator for the rooms, the bathrooms are small but adapted to the customer needs.
