Nothing too much trouble for 'Sarah' on reception . Had a problem with the room which was quickly actioned and room change/free upgrade arranged . All aspects of the hotel seem to be steadily improving . Great location and will continue to use when visiting Hull

Staff and food very good, as usual. Check-in as Platinum member is never easy - items not always offered unless requested a second time after requesting with the booking. Rceptionist was fine but it appears to be adminstrative neglect rather than operational. First impression and check-in has never run smoothly at this hotel for my last 4 visits. Pillows in room were lumpy - again.

The hotel is situated between the train and bus stations and has some free parking, the staff were very helpful in the spacious lounge and dining room, the hotel is ideal for both shoppers and culture seekers, shops and museums a few minutes walk

I had 3 nights in Mercure Hull, the room quite good but a bit of noise from the train station. The room service good but charge for food 5 pounds. the internet good, the only thing annoyed me the sound of the train station it was a nightmare. and its quite old hotel overall.
