My wife and I had booked a two day break at this hotel and found that the room that we were first allocated was very small so we complained to receptionist. The receptionist was very polite and friendly and immediately changed our room to one that was much more comfortable. She even sent an assistant to ensure the new room met our expectations. The staff in the hotel during our stay were excellent. They were friendly and helpful at all times from the cleaning lady who helped us with our door key and television operation, to the bar men and waiters in the restaurant, and the afore mentioned reception staff, all helped make our stay enjoyable. Add to this the good quality of the food served in the restaurant and the overall view of our stay was very enjoyable indeed.

Went for work very nice hotel and good location, right next to station and across from shopping centre. You do sometimes here the train station whilst in your room but I guess all depends where your room is located. Breakfast was fabulous and would highly recommend. The gentleman waiter was excellent and catered to your every need.

Nothing too much trouble for 'Sarah' on reception . Had a problem with the room which was quickly actioned and room change/free upgrade arranged . All aspects of the hotel seem to be steadily improving . Great location and will continue to use when visiting Hull

Staff and food very good, as usual. Check-in as Platinum member is never easy - items not always offered unless requested a second time after requesting with the booking. Rceptionist was fine but it appears to be adminstrative neglect rather than operational. First impression and check-in has never run smoothly at this hotel for my last 4 visits. Pillows in room were lumpy - again.
