My third stay here for 11 nights in August 2023 and overall another enjoyable stay apart from one thing. When I checked in I was given room 3205 in the back building overlooking a lovely typical Paris street but the air-conditioning wasn’t working and it was hot in Paris in August but within an hour I was moved to another room 2205 one floor below which was fine and the air-conditioning at first appeared to work but never got the room cool. Now here is where the confusion started as I was told that the hotel was no longer air-conditioned but air-cooled or some similar term and it only came on if the air temperature was over a certain amount, 25C I think and it was a government rule to save energy due to the energy crisis but none of the other dozen or so hotel I stayed at in France over the previous three months seemed to have any restrictions with their air-conditioning. I did have a look at the hotels website and I can’t remember now what it actually said but it didn’t say air-conditioning but something similar to that and on my previous stays the air-conditioning worked the way it should. Apart from that the property was as good as before with a spacious clean modern studio apartment with a good kitchen, big fridge, enough space and a comfortable bed once I took the protector off the mattress which just makes me sweat so much. The room has a safe, iron and small ironing board and there is a handy set of scales to weigh your luggage in for €1 in the lobby. The location is fantastic a short walk to the Vincennes metro station where you can buy a day ticket for €8.45 for zones 1 & 2 which covers the vast majority of the areas in central Paris most tourists would want to visit. Vincennes is the start or end of metro line 1 which cuts through central Paris and ensures a seat on the train. The hotel has a small underground parking garage which I used on the night I arrived but was able to find free street parking for the next two nights as in this part of the city parking is free from 5pm to 9am the next morning which was great. The staff as usual were fantastic. Overall a pretty decent stay at a hotel I really like.

Just like the title says, I’m surprised it’s rated as 4 star hotel. The towels are very thinness towels I’ve seen. Breakfast is just ok, but very expensive for what it is. Stuff is occasionally rude. Room and washroom is not very clean. To top this off hotel made an error on their end and wanted to check me out one day earlier. I’ve been showing them receipts from their system with a correct date but they were dismissing it and acting that this is my problem. Eventually they agreed and “let” me stay a day. Additionally, my stay was booked with breakfast included but the next day when I was checking out they charged me for breakfast! It’s freaking 18 euros for subpar breakfast which I already paid for. At that point I was too tired of arguing and just paid it. I would recommend staying away from this place.

Le petit-déjeuner est parfois pris en charge par votre société, et parfois non inclus, l'équipe réception ne fait que communiquer l'état de votre réservation reçue par mail. Cela n'était en aucun cas une erreur de notre part. En revanche nous avons évidemment eu un malentendu sur votre date de check-out, et nous nous en excusons mais cet incident a été résolu immédiatement dès votre retour. Nous attachons une grande importance à offrir un service bienveillant et professionnel à nos clients, et nous prenons vos commentaires très au sérieux. Ceci étant dit, nous regrettons véritablement que vous soyez déçu de votre séjour parmi nous et espérons avoir l’occasion de vous revoir lors d’un prochain séjour, pour ainsi vous offrir une expérience plus agréable. Well located with modern building facilities

The stay was rather pleasant. However it's a bit overpriced for the quality of the room amenities. The bathroom is kind of old and requires some freshening up and the bed is rather uncomfortable. The bed linens were poorly tucked in at my arrival.

Good stay but

Appartment was comfortable, however there was no hot water for 2 days and that really spoiled my stay

Over all the hotel is well located and the staff is responsive and helpful for the most part , however scope to really provide more functioning room, the below issues in the room: 1. the towel holder behind the bathroom door was broken 2. the shower was not gripping the rod correctly and would slip from its correct angle making bathing comfortably difficult 3. room phone not working 4. Lift not working and staff at the reception not forthcoming to help with luggage, had to move my bags 3 floors on my own 5. Breakfast can be a little different each day (good to have :) )
